  • great camera looking to get one, and yea 200th favorite video!

  • My dad always tried to get me into photography, but I never had the patience to learn what all the knobs and switches did. A few months ago, I found my grandpa's old C2. I cleaned it up, found a manual online, and figured out how to work it. It was a great way to learn the basics, not to mention the gorgeous pictures it takes; I feel like I don't have to do a thing!

  • I have a bunch of Argus cameras myself, my favorite is the Argus FA. I modified the flash attachment to take an Electronic Flash. Cut off the Flash pan, and glued a Bryl cream cap on top with a shoe mount on top of that and wired it to the connectors, works great!

  • The only moderately expensive accessories are the 35mm and 100mm Sandmar accessory lens for the C3. There's also a rarer Soligor lens. Most people don't realize that the C3 is an interchangeable lens camera. Of course I have the 35mm and 100mm Cintagon accessory lens for the C44 and 44r models.

  • You too? I thought I was the only Argus freak. I have uncounted dozens of A's/C2/C3/C33/C4/C44/C44R/Argoflex/Autronics.

I used to have several working models and big junk box of them until I learned to work on 'em... now there are just a few cameras left in the junk box. I have enough parts to keep them running long after film is no longer made... lilght meters, external viewfinders... all of it.

  • Winderful old cameras. I have like,,, 20!
