  • @Khayeanne13 A very difficult song!! I hope it works out OK for you!

  • I didn't see this one coming.

  • Wonderful version of a great song. Ah, the memories! Thank you.

  • @ceb2633 All happy ones, I hope, Claudia!

  • Simply wonderful !!!.

    João Ronaldo.

    Rio de Janeiro - Brasil.

  • Thanks Joao. Nice to hear from Brasil!

  • Letttermen were one the famous group when i was growing up..thanks for posting

  • Wow!

I love this song and this Lettermen version is great.

Could you post the Lettermen's song "Without Her" too?

    Thanks a million.

  • As soon as I can, friend!

  • Abby is so darn cute!!

  • thank you!

  • One of my favorite piano piece in its entirety, just love the instrumental part. A brilliant composition by Jim Webb.

  • Thanks! Certainly a fine piece of writing!

  • Wow, I can't believe you actually posted this. I'm a huge Lettermen fan. I had taped a performance from TV about 25 years ago where they sung this, and lost the tape somewhere over the years. Do you also by any chance have their version of Send In The Clowns? They did that one on this particular show and it was breathtaking. Thanks so much for the post!

  • Thanks so much! Glad you appreciated it. My good friend 65Reasons has already posted your request.Just go to the "search" box on YouTube and type in the song title and Lettermen and you will find it straight away. Let me know if you have any probs!

  • Maybe Tony, Donovan and Mark should do more Motown, they've done such a good job on this one! Thanks for the post. This song is quite hard to find.

  • Would you class this as Motown??? They have had quite a few stabs at Motown /Soul over the years. Classics like My Girl, Everything's Good about you, Reflections, and Tony does a nice solo of You make me feel like a natural man. Feel free to request a song at any time! I think Everythings good..... has already been posted.

  • just...brilliant!

  • Thanks a lot Ms MuLL1N!!

  • That little girl is so cute! What an angel!

  • Our Granddaughter Miss Abbie!! Yes, she is an angel but only when she wants to be!!!

  • Well I can tell she's a great treasure to

    Grandpa!

  • You got that right Cathy!!

  • Great video Phil- I love this song. Is that Miss Abbie with the birthday cake?

  • Well spotted Tilly!! A celebratory cake for myself and son Lee's birthday (on same day!!)

She enjoyed her self so much bless her, came walking in with it singing Happy Birthday!!

  • Hi eman, it's a shame that dick clark has aged and had a stroke and could'nt do one new yrs celebration until the following yr and yrs with slower speech. Anne

  • Anne, I agree, what's New Years Eve without Dick Clark...grew up almost every New Years with him...until we moved to the Philippines from 77-84...then I saw him again and I was age 20 (1984)....However this AM I was playing the Lettermen in my cubicle really low and the people looked at me like I had two heads. I just looked back and said THEY ROCK...and that was that...people are strange as the Doors once sang

  • a very good vid dad never heard that one!

  • You always had good taste MULL1N!

  • Hi eman, i dont know how they mix the music. when i heard this song i heard gary pike singing and went through patrick fullerton web and learned about the passing of garys wife and now i think he is remarried. the last time i've seen gary, sharon, donny and andrea was when i was about 20 through 25 and now i'm 53. Anne

  • Wow...I went to the patrick fullerton web also....Don't worry I'm 44 and as everyone at work calls me SON OF DICK CLARK, cuz I refuse to give up. Phil, Dick Clark was the host of a 50's - 80's tv dance show called American Bandstand and was dubbed the worlds oldest teenager, in case you didn't know but probably already did. They also call me an old teenbopper cuz of my bubblegum music...LOL They can't even figure out why I love the Lettermen!! LOL

  • Wow! Cool cup Phil! Maybe I'll have one made myself. I've already put up a little photo of the Lettermen in my cubicle at work...It's next to the BCRs, Dooleys, Nolans, Bucks Fizz, Abba, Buster, David Cassidy and The Partridges. People think I'm strange but hey I tell them NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL MUSIC!!!!

  • HHAAAA HAA! Glad you like my birthday present!

That last phrase you could use for an album title!!! ;))

  • Excellent video!!! Thanks, Lettermen1.

  • OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH. KKKKKKKKK. phil boy to hear gary pike sing again and picturing him singing that is wow. garys wife sharon died in 2005 i think and she was nice. i did'nt see those two in 30 yrs and the same with donny pike. donny has his own web. i'll send that info soon. Anne

  • Hey Anne, I'm Eman and I'm a big Lettermen fan also. Do you have the Lettermen 1 album? Does it also seem like their voices sound different and sped up to sound younger. Phil says it sounds different also.

  • Good to bring back memories for you Anne!

  • Wow! Phil thanks for posting this as I'm patiently waiting for the "Alive Again, Naturally" album to come in the mail. I broke down and ordered it for $4. It's in near mint condition....and still have the original shrinkwrap. I forgot did the lps in England come in shrinkwrap? I remember some did and some didn't....

  • You are right Eman, some did(mainly U.S. imports), some didn't.
