I had heard of Professor Layton, but since I hadn't played video games for some time, I didn't have much interest in it. Then I found this... A true masterpiece! And being a fan of puzzles made it even better! This is, in my opinion and my opinion only, Japanese video games at their best!

It's a very nice movie... I'm not really fan of Professor Layton, though I've the Curious Village (but only played it once). I knew there was a movie but never watched it before. Since I saw some flipnotes (on Hatena) about Luke, I was thinking about watching the movie. Once again, it's a very nice movie. Well done Team Layton!

P.s. I think I would never be big fan of PL, sorry guys...

I've been a fan of PL since Curious Village came out, but I never knew the film existed until I was looking up Lost Future fanart (yes, I'm from the UK) on deviantART, and I found one with characters I didn't recognise.

I guess we felt like Mr. Whistler when someone we loved (especially friends, relatives, lovers, any person we admired and even someone who didn't deserved to die) died, we wished it they would have never died, we want to go above and beyond to bring them back to life but just like they said in One Piece, a man or a person never dies until he/she is forgotten

So if we keep those people in memory, they will still live on...

I think the producers knew what they were doing. Sometimes when a movie is the first one of a series, it's not that great, but I think this was great. I think it covered everything it needed to plotwise, as far as I could see, since I usually can't spot plot holes. But if I did try to look for plot holes I think I'd never enjoy anything I watched.

Professor Layton was awesome as always, and Luke got an upgrade of awesomeness. The new characters were a nice addition.

I've played along with your little game, and (including a reduction in Picarats for those I got second time around) I managed to score 332/500 Picarats. The chainsaw one I thought would be used to chop down a tree first, but my next guess was bang on the money.
