Idea. Try Sesame Oil in place of Soy. I've been trying for almost 2 years. Mouthwash, sore throat, lip balm, sinus drops, Just a dime size puddle in a spoon. I think too much made my kidneys ache once so I got spooked and used the 4 hour dose method like most medicines.
I'm not sure yet, but it may even be helping to reduce cold symptoms. Still trying that out. Food benefits, of course, are good as well. Just a dab adds flavor to food.
Great video, thanks for the info on spices. I like the way you have everything set up in your new kit. I like how compact the older kit is too. what is the name or the brand of the older kit pouch. Did you make the draw string bags yourself or did you purchase them? Great video! Hope to see more. I just subscribed!
I always put a small cotton / linen ditty bag over my Billycan that way when I take out my spices I have a place to put them so they are not all scattered around camp. It makes finding things in bad weather a whole lot easier

I hadn't really thought about the medicinal properties of the herbs and spices, beyond the tasty factor.
