@eddy8619 you need to have it sexed either popping it or probing works see if a local vet can do it. And yes the color or pattern morph doesnt matter. A corn snake can breed with any cornsnake, gopher snake, king snake, milk snake, or rat snake

yes, they are a good starter snake. im fourteen and i got mine last december and im already holding him all the time. yes very friendly. unless the child is really really screwing with him he wont try to bite

Whatever you decide be sure to research what you are getting into first.

@riverclan1 Corn snakes are easy to handle and are very docile, if they did bite for any reason they do penetrate the skin when they bite. They are just quite basic snakes and are very calm mellow and relaxed. The ball python is good because again they are quite docile and I reccommend them, I was going to get one. Remember to do your research. :D good luck.

As for the shed question. Babies usually shed 1 time a month depending on feed schedule and that will slow down into adulthood with 4-6 sheds a year

usually people seperate after the first shed or sooner.

It will make record keepin easier and you will not risk spread of disease or possible cannibalism

If you cannot afford seperate renclosures you should not have bought 2 snakes. The diseases will spread faster, record keeping will be immpossible not to mention there are cases of cannibalism
