  • I'm a gay New Zealander and David Heubner as U.S. Ambassador here is the best thing to happen here since Kentucky Fried Chicken stores opened up here in the 70s lol

I wish everything I like to watch on youtube was this clear

  • Wow, reading all of these comments I am so glad that I come from a non conservative, free and open minded country such as New Zealand. I would hate our politics to get muddled about with religion as you so often see in the States. I can't imagine living in a country that has a stick so far up their ass about certain issues.

  • As a New Zealander I just want to say Kia Ora to David and Duane, and welcome to our home. It is an honour to have you in New Zealand. Aroha Nui

  • standley how horrible with same sex marriage. honestly mate its not the end of the world. it will not shake you religious foundation. and arnt all same under god? you seem to not preach what you been taught

  • zamleft - just because a large group of god hating sin filled immoral people refuse to live by Actual Triune Holy God's Moral Laws ???..........does not make it OK ......TRUTH is still THE TRUTH.....even if no one believes it! And a lie and sin are still a LIE and SIN - even if everyone ignores it! .......and when God choose to JUDGE sin-filled people and allow the last Eight Believers onto that ARK? .....HE CLOSED THAT DOOR!.....and it ~shook~ several millions world~~ and they were = NO MORE!

  • Get this muther fucker to rebuild the infrastruser by giving him a hard hat.

  • - Climate Gate -

On Monday Nov 30 2009, FOX News admits that leaked emails from top U.N. scientists show repeated conversations about skewing and hiding data actually showing an 11 year trend in global cooling, proving the entire man-made global warming idea was just one big scam to implement global carbon taxes on the world's population through treaties and legislation like Cap and Trade.

  • We all no fox news can be trusted... Seriously if it's said on fox news it's probably not true.

  • And the world is flat and it was made in 7 days too...

  • I wonder why the "GHEY Gene" they claim that makes them GHEY only showed up in the last 60 years. Before that somebody that was GHEY was thought to have some mental disorder.

I wonder if the GHEY people a just Brainwashed into thinking they are GHEY? I think most ppl are brainwashed and the Hockey Stick graph that shows this recent increase in "homosexuality" is just more brainwashing. I would bet there life on it. Its very clear to the majority of us.

  • you cant even talk english. You sound like an ignorant hick. just stupid.

  • Lovey, they haven't been able to do the science until the last 15 years of course they didn't have a gay gene 60 years ago.

  • Gays are smart, great workers and very commited to their families especially when they marry or they adopt kids.

America should be proud to have as Ambassador a smart man who happened to be gay

  • MrFreedomdemocracy: Your a Fool. Go spread your BS elsewhere, it's hard enough to watch this goon Biden. Mr. you are what is known as a Spook and the awake can spot a Spook such as yourself very easily. What a FAILURE!

  • political puppet shows!

  • I often think of Joe the plumber. God Bless All.

  • chatsworthsharp, your a freakin idiot. dont even talk.

  • FOUNDATIOnFOOTBALL

You're the idiot. We in the US have freedom FROM religion and swearing on a bible has no place in politics.

Well we do as long as people still think the Constitution is valid.

  • @JusticePetitioner

It's freedom OF religion idiot. The didn't read that bible ,they didn't preach from it. They didn't even open it. He simply put his hand on it and promised people he would be honest. It's traditional. You atheists need to stop being so sensitive and recognize that you aren't the only people in this country who have rights or opinions.

  • freedom OF religion also includes freedom FROM religion, we're just as free to NOT have it as those who do

  • alright whatever you say smart guy..

Learn how to read before you call someone an idiot.. "Congress shall make no law RESPECTING an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

If I was to say i want to swear on the constitution and not a bible I would be persecuted. I would have broken tradition and caused an uproar over something small..

Were not the ones who need to stop being sensitive.

  • If it's such a small point why would it cause "an uproar?"

I must say "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" is definitive of _freedom from religion_ and appears to be intended for that objective else the remainder of the clause "...or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." would not be necessary.

  • If I was to run for office and want to swear on anything but the bible.. It will be spun into a I didnt keep "American" tradition and is in a way disrespecting the country.. Now not everyone thinks this, but lets not forget the many many that strongly believe this is a Christian nation.

  • Yes, and I believe it's often phrased "the Christian tradition behind US Law and it's Constitution."

It is phrased that way because it bears some truth. The Constitution and much US Law is based on traditions with deep roots in Christian culture. It is a subtle difference between respecting tradition and establishment or promotion of a religion. One that entails the application of some measure of diplomacy when discussing at what point tradition crosses the line into practice of religion.

  • Really that in depth? Why is it when people talk about this being a Christian nation you dont actually hear the rest of your quote?

The Constitution being this live document in which we are free from religious beliefs yet beliefs of no supreme being are persecuted is the type of backwards babble that keeps power going.

There is no diplomacy, its a follow the herd type mentality and believing backwards hype to feel secure.

  • Perhaps if you would put your argument into layman's terms it could be perceived and accepted by a broader audience. As it stands now my perception of your position grows fuzzier rather gaining clarity with each new post.

Full disclosure from me would include that I am indeed a Christian denier. I hold that the Bible and it's related followers have about as much veracity as the Illiad and it's bevy of Gods and Goddesses. Both books teach important moral lessons, neither is rooted in real events.

  • So I have to dumb down my speech even further so people who cant think for themselves have a better chance of understanding?

Even when put in laymans terms people are to stupid to understand. Its the herd mentality.

If your looking for a "disclosure" on me your mistaken. We are talking about a specific subject. Not my "Personal" beliefs.

  • Whats to mistake.. We have Freedom FROM Religion.. Thats as simple as you can make it.

We dont all have to conform to the Christian America. We are not obligated to, yet we are second class citizens.

  • If this and the limited few other threads I've witnessed your participation in are any indication it is not your belief system but your behaviour toward others that gets you shunned.

  • Really and you are talking about a thread in which I was repeatedly called names yet didnt resort to their level and asked for information for them to prove me wrong. Which they couldnt.

I am such a bad person.

  • It is alignment to your personal belief system that you are demanding of others. I think we have the right to know from where that belief system arose.

What I take offence at is being told that simplifying your viewpoint to the point of being able to communicate it to others will inevitably fail when you have failed to even attempt to do so.

  • LOL.. where did my belief that we have freedom from religion come from?..

    Really??

    The 1st Amendment.

  • swear to the people you serve, not the bible...

remember separation of church and state?

    get with the times

    religion is bullshit

  • @chatsworthsharp420

yeah you are pretty stupid for that remark
