@iHateAnime4LIfe Yes, because I didn't watch any real anime until 13ish (other than pokemon, a little dbz, and naruto), and it actually turned out that other kids had more of a negative affect on me than anime itself. Heck, I started using words like crap because of other kids! Anime didn't do this to them because by the time I started using those words I was in 4th or 5th grade, and no one watches anime that early. I sure didn't!
