Thank you for posting this video. My mother is German and her mother left the Nazi party, at great personal cost. My Oma's cousin was a member of the Red Orchestra (Rote Kapelle), an informal group of musicians who were part of the resistance. Onkel Helmut was imprisoned. The Americans even incorporated the Baltic volunteers into the U.S. Army in 1949. Many Waffen-SS veterans fought in the Korean War.

Kees was one of the few survivors after being caught by the Russian troups just outside of Berlin and brought to Russian prison camps were he managed to escape and walked back to Holland. The history is often very one-sided. Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands was the head of the Dutch Resistance (which did only act in May '45), his brother Aschwin was in the SS.

The problem with footsoldiers is that they are great in marching and if proven great at fighting. But start thinking when do not need to think.

The "soldiers" that support national socialism these days have nothing to say for themselves and have lesser education then the soldiers on the western front fighting on the coalition side against zee germans that where brave but kept def of knowledge.
