I am totally emeshed in this man, there is no other like Merle who can sing so well with deep raw emotions everyone has been through. What a blessing to have him
wow i have never heard this song before. i really like it. i wonder when this was recorded. i thought i had heard all of merle Haggads songs, what a treat.
I love the tune and melody of this song. The "countryfied" Bflat to F blend, the little C scale run and the E, Am twist... brilliant! Never heard this before but just wanted to play along straight away. And then there's Merle's voice... fantastic*****
Tommy Sears version is C F G and then a key-change to Dmaj (D G A). Is that the right song? Guitar or keyboard, you'll need to fill the chord-changes with "runs" from one to the other, to get the sound you can hear on (for example) this Merle track.
I can see what you're saying in the sequence you've given (it's the same thing as I would do holding a barre F and, without removing any fingers, make your little finger create a Bflat... try hammering it on and lifting it off.... good eh?
