the Vamp2 has latency when you change the preset with the footswitch???

@sopotito There is only the slightest latency when you switch between amp models,( ie... hi gain, to clean ). in a live band situation, you won't even notice it? But...when you setup a patch with distortion and one without and use the same amp model...there is absolutely no latency. Your just switching the distortion on and off....Good question, I hope this helps. Rock on dude.

@VisionScrapBook thank you very much for your answer. I was interested in a V-amp3, so that question was really necessary to make a choice. I was talking with other people, and they told me the same. When you switch the patches with different amp simulation, you got latency, but if you change patches with just different distortions, there's no latency.

what's the feature of "m-audio interface",you can plug vamp2>computer? as I do

ryan rocker 12. u connect the jack either direst or send return. direct choose either the l or r output and plug one jack into the amps input. then come out of of the vamps input to ur amp. 4 send return plug 2 jacks into l and r then into ur amps send return then run out of the vamps input

v-amp on a amp sounds have a tendency of sounding horrible. but it's actually damn good true a computer :P

thats because it has amp simulators...and amp simulators are meant to go through a pa system or directly to recording, not through amps...
