Demonstrate a reliable, foll-proof way of measuring distances beyond a couple of light years and I will believe that the universe is billions of years old. Unfortunately, the truth is that God made the universe not very long ago. But what is awesome is Christ's salvation, just ask Him into your heart, and thats all you have to do because its a free gift.

The "foll-proof" (I think you mean "fool-proof") way of measuring distances consists of a massive culmination of information throughout hundreds of books which has been proven to consist of fact. Your ignorance in science does not affect truth or make it fallible. If you want to know how it works, stay in school. If you don't, then keep your ignorance to yourself and don't procreate.
