I love this song and I can't for the life of me understand why so many people slate it. My first reaction to hearing that Heath Ledger died from a drugs overdose was "How could you do it?". I didn't know the details at the time; all I knew was that one of my favourite actors had died and people were saying that it was suspected that it was partly suicide. If that's how a reasonably mature 18-year-old feels in 2008, imagine a 10 year-old's reaction in 1957!
Really were his scene's put back? Did he finally get screen credit? I have seen that movie many times & I have yet seen any addition scenes of Reeves. please let me know if that version is on DVD
Sorry to disagree, but Richard did a great job creating this and doing the Beach Boys style harmonies. I am sure he is not getting rich off of this. This is a tribute and alot of people can relate to this. I don't like the word 'bereft' tho.
Of all the men who have played Superman, George Reeves remains my favorite. My favorite scene in this video is when Superman takes the little lame girl flying. Whoever this little girl playing the part was... she was great:)
This could have been a great vid if you would change the words like Magicman2001 suggested. Trust me this devastated me when I was 6 years old and even then I knew he did not commit sucide. Kids are very intuitive & see thru the lies.
what adventures of superman episode does the flying sequence starting at 05:18 come from? i want to try to make an animated avatar out of that. that scene is so cool! ^^
The flying sequence you mention comes from "Shot in the Dark," which is a season 2 episode. You can see a GIF animation of the flying scene at the "Oh George" MySpace page.
if you scroll down a little way, it's on the left.
Richard and Roger: Fantastic! I've looked at many of the Superman video's and this is by far the best. Very professional. I can't wait to see what you do next. Sara Cranfield
Awesome! Very well done! Richard, you are such a talent. Roger, you, too, are quite a talent and your video is very professionally done. Thank you! Terry and Fred Crane
I know Richard and I love his song and i fully back him. This video is a work of love for a one of superman's young fan. This is truly a work of love from one of george's fans. Absolutely wonderful Luke Periard

Also I recently saw a showing of the movie FROM HERE TO ETERNITY, and George Reeves' scenes have all been put back in.
Somewhere George Reeves is smiling:)
