I guess I'm just a beginner, but except for some of the initial cuts, I don't quite get what the purpose of some of the kata moves are for. Could you explain why you tend to spin the sword before sheathing it?

Holy crap that's fast. I'm definitely going to keep on practicing until I draw and cut as fast as you can. Can you do a variation of the video where you try to reshealth the sword as fast as you can after the cut?

Not to be rude, but this is really fast Kata. Usually Kata are supposed to be smooth and slow to show the beauty of the art of Iaido.
