  • The Akaka Bill indicates that you must have a parent or even a grandparent who would be eligible for the Hawaii Homstead Act of 1921. So, you can be 1/4 Hawaiian. Plus you would have to show membership/affilication with a Hawaiian Organization.

  • They use Kau Inoa to get signatures for the Akaka Bill. They require 1 drop of blood and easy ways to verify your Native Hawaiian ancestory. While the Hawaiian Homes Comission( HHC) require 50% native blood to qualify for homestead land. Can't we say that if you honor native hawaiian verification through the Kau Inoa organization; which is using our information to pass a bill through law, then it should also serve as means to claim native homestead land through the same governing laws?

  • Thats pretty stupid considering theres no such thing as "51% Hawaiian" (Now that scientists know a little bit more about DNA); through DNA studies they found that DNA is in everything BUT blood, making DNA a "blueprint" of information within the entire body, except the blood. Government needs to re-think BS "blood quantum" laws because theyre not based on science. Youre only 50% Hawaiian?! Sorry, youre not Hawaiian enough; based on outdated science.

  • the legal genocide continues. and people think this is a thing of the past. well they are still doing it, like they did to the native americans, only they upped the qualifying quantum by 25%
