I just finished reading your For Dummies book, these vids def help clarify some things you should add these on a CD or something if you ever make a 3rd edition!
@bscannell120 The thing about the cue, and hotcues is, that the normal cue, you would more rather use while just mixing improvised. You know at regular gigs, and also using it to start the song.
The hotcues you would normally use for a prepared set, just like the big names do. You know, to skip the boring parts of the songs. Also, you can prepare your Hotcues before your gig, and save it, so when you put in your track you can use the hotcues without having to create it at the spot:) Understand?
This is outstandingly clear. There is nothing that a person could not follow. You are a great teacher. Your perfect diction is an important part of this. (What a contrast with the terrible CDJ 2000 videos issued by Pioneer.)
i would like to make hot cues at home, save them on the SD card, and then at a gig, when i put the sd card in, does it automatically remember the cues per track or per cd or how does that actually work :) big thnx in advance
