  • Hey Dov, please, pick a volume, now, stick with it, thanks...

  • You won't know if you try.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. So! TRY! I did. I've gotten 2 extras jobs so far. Didn't get paid for that kinda work, but sure did learn a lot. GOOD LUCK !

  • What a pile of junk!!! "You need to join SAG" it's $1500 every 6 months! I'm with Equity its £110 a year and covers all of the industry not just live theatre.

I like it how "Take acting classes" is number 6 on his list. Surely you need to know that you can act (be an "actor-actor" that is) before getting headshots and looking for agents.

I'm sure Dustin Hoffman, Judi Dench and Tom Hanks became the artists they are today by following a 2 day film school DVD.

Some pratt will believe him though

  • @adrian4408 SAG is what you need for the US. Also if you are an actor, as i am a professional actor on Spotlight, you don't actually NEED acting classes or to go to drama school to become an actor.

  • @adrian4408 It can be as random as looking good or knowing the casting director/production crew and the actors who get work are the ones who approach it as a business. No working actor would be so naive to think that the industry is about the craft or talent to get the job or people like Cameron diaz or Orlando bloom would never have had careers.

  • @antariss Both comments have truths there but as a fellow professional actor, I'm sure you'll agree with me that this jackass in the video is exploiting stupid, fame hungry wannabes, by making them think he can make a Hollywood star in 2 days.

It is hugely to do with looks too, but you can pretty and still lack the ability to act, look at Orlando Bloom, can't show expression in his face to save his life.

Everyone has the ability to act but not everyone can be believable, hence acting classes

  • @adrian4408 well how do you think its done? are there jobs for fat middleaged half black and white handsome male actors that will do anything to suceed

  • I have to admit, this guy scares the SHIT out of me!

  • will any of this work if i have NO experience at acting but am willing to start?
