  • DJ Hollywood, a true pioneer of hip-hop. Underrated and unheralded, here is one of the true legends of the seminal days of hip-hop. Remember Club 371 in the Bronx? As DJ Hollywood once told me after I remarked there was no one to put on a show that nite at Club 371, "I am the show!"

    Keep Bangin!!!

  • UNDERRATED!

  • DJ Hollywood's voice is that voice that used to get you going when you went to a jam in New York Bro, for those of us who know the true origins of Hip Hop and

MC ing! it was DJ Hollywood and Eddie Cheba.

  • @XConYoungBlood i remember eddie cheba, he is the one that inspired me to start my own crew back in the day. and then we acually had a battle with like seven crews at club FANTASIA in queens new york. we are still carrying on the old school tradition with crews in hartford, waterford and new london conn. hip hop u dont stop.

  • @GodfathersHouse I used to go to Fantasia but I cant recall what part of Queens it was in. was Fantasia on The South Conduit in Queens yo? and I wanna sat whasup to you bro because we was there when the real hip hop was in effect! when we used to cut them turntables up with jams like SUPERSPERM AND I CANT STOP! remember them jamz yo remember that jam called SEX? it goes you ya walk like sex, and talk like sex! remember that yo?

There were so many people outside that they setup speakers outside so those folks could party also. Man, those were the days!! Do you remember how Hollywood would rock "And the Beat Goes On" by the Whispers for at least 30 minutes or more?

  • Gaberdine pants, Pro Keds, Bucket Hats, Gazelle glasses with mo frame

  • Club 371 was the Shit. What about P&P's on Jerome Ave?

  • @mrbeeonline Waddup yo man to your recollection when did British Walkers hit I remember them like about 80-81 I think. I was 15-16 back then,if you was at these jams then you older than me.
