I think the major issue in this game was Nebraska's horrible play and willingness to let Michigan walk all over them. I was at the game and thought Nebraska fans represented their school well but accusing Michigan of faking injuries is quite petty when you get blown out.
Watch #32...nobody touches him, yet he comes up gimp and just goes down. Everytime NEB got some big gains, you see a Wolverine go down. Happened 3 times and each time caused the drive to stall. Very questionable in my mind...but Nebraska has to overcome that, I am not at all questioning that. But really Michigan, REALLY?
From what I understand, this guy has had a knee problem this year, but ended up coming back and playing on the same drive. He finished the game and led the Michigan in tackles. I question the validity of this particular injury, but tweaks do happen.
@csteven4: Correction, Kovacs did not reenter the game the next play, he actually stayed out the rest of the series. While he did come back in the game, taking a key defensive player out of a series while the other team is driving does not seem like sound football strategy. It's more likely injuries are taking their toll at the end of a long season.
