Im not too much of a gamer, but a week ago i bought a Alienware M17 with QX9300 and Dual ATi 3870's with 4GB of DDR3 RAM @ an amazing 1066MHz and a 1200p screen. My cousin was telling me i should try Crysis, and it ran really well, i just couldn't get it running it full setting on 1200p res, other wise i could get it up to like 37-42 FPS anyways cool game, and great video, looks better up close.

i dont think even to this day with the new intel i7 cpu and ati radeon 4870 x2 running in cross fire mode, can run it on max settings and in 1600 resoultion or higher. the frame rate is still like 20, which is un playable

u are totally wrong.. i play on 1600 resolution with a normal 3.0 dual core and a 280 gtx and i get 30+ fps on very high (no AA) so an i7 system with like a 295 gtx would do wayyy better

....the speed of ram is usually notated in MHz....the fastest available is 2133MHz or 2.133GHz. ram that is 1066GHz (if it existed) would far exceed the bus limitations of cpus and motherboards and would not be utilized. (if you could even cool it)
