i've had 6 cats in my life, i loved every single one of them... tiger, max, sooty, annabell, tilly, bailey... tiger died of gallstone :( , max died from a brown snake bite :( , sooty killed our neighbours kitten.....so we put her down, annabell got sold to a little girl who liked to dress kittens up :P , tilly was a stray and extremely crazy, she would hide behide our fridge all day and night.... eventually we had to take her back to her origanal owner and bailey got given to our neighbour :(

I love cats I have five in the house. I did only have four but my seventeen year old daughter found one at our high school gym and brought her home. This cat is a beautiful calico that is fixing to be fixed next week we don't need any kittens. I have sure taken in my share of strays over the years. and I have a big tom that's been coming up to eat at night so I'm sure he will stay.

I cant wait till im older! im going to get a cat from cat haven! But mi mum says i have enough animals... only 2 dogs , 1 cat and a bearded dragon! ( plus a corn snake on the loose! :O )

Wonderful video --- I am planning to adopt in the next week or so (just as soon as I have finished unpacking my new place!) I can't wait to have a furry roommate to share my new home with. I can't wait to meet everyone in person!

I loved the video! My youngest furry child, Jasper, was a Cats Haven kitty who has left a CH foster home for his forever home with my senior cat, Misty, and me and we're so glad he came to live with us.

What a lovely video! I wish there were more places like Cats Haven. How anybody can dump or hurt an animal is beyond my comprehension. They are part of this earth, and we're no better or worse than them; we are all equal and deserve the same love and care. Thank you for everything you do for these beautiful creatures!

Captdawn: How mean & destructive! I, too, know the woman who runs the Haven; she is a saint of God who goes without necessities herself. Sometimes the Haven is crowded -- because it's too hard to say "no" when the alternative is death. Sometimes it's smelly because the foundlings have tender tummies from eating garbage and fighting internal parasites. You will not find amore generous caretaker. Visit or volunteer and see for yourself.

I agree with you wholeheartly! I have been to Cat's Haven a few times. Sometimes to drop off donations of food or money, sometimes just to love on the new one's so they will get used to people.

I, myself, love cat's, the caretaker of Cat's Haven is a better woman than I..I just don't know if I could handle that many.

That is why I try and find other ways to help out...

Thank you so much for taking a look at this slide show. We're trying everything we can think of to get our kitties adopted out, or raise much-needed funds to get these guys vetted. So many that we take in are "special needs," and will likely become permanent shelter residents. Again, thanks for taking a moment to watch. The cats appreciate it. :)
