he wasnt lucky, Cheechoo won fair and square. He didnt have just one good season, hes had 30 and 20 goal seasons too. Cheechoo is one of the best in the league. Hes just dealt with a lot of problems with injuries and playing with guys who dont score. Once Cheech is at full health again, he'll get back into the form he was in before.

CHEECHOO play has been declining, I think a big part is due to his LEg injury. Every since that incident he hasn't looked the same. I EXpect him and MARLEAU to put up BIG NUMBERS THIS YEAR. I expect 50 plus GOALS FOR CHEECH ANytime YOUR ON THORNTONS LINE YOUR GONNA GET THOSE OPPORTUNITIeS. LETS GO CHEECHOO TRAIN.

Nothing's wrong with a garbage goal, or a rebound. That's a hockey players goal. Cheechoo is one of the best support players in the NHL.

Not just that he is one of the best players in NHL in general.

He plays his role well. He isn't an Ovechkin, or a Phaneuf. He's a finisher, not a playmaker. That's what I mean by support player. He would be the third guy on my top line for sure.

Your right, Cheechoo is a great player but not as good as Ovechkin but I think he has the potential to be better

He will never be better than Ovechkin for pure skill and goal scoring, but he does have potential to be a top 5 NHL scorer, and be much more of a team player and a leader than Ovechkin will ever be.

You never know, but its hard to compare them their 2 different kind of players. Ovechkin is a finesse player and Cheechoo is a power forward.

Cheechoo is a master sniper 2008-2009 season he will have another 50 goal. he just had a bad season this year

actually that was ovechkin and crosby's rookie season, and ovechkin had 52 goals, so cheechoo won it fairly, beating out Jagr by two goals, and malkin wouldnt put up 50 goals, he's more of a set up man.
