@SuperMarvinramos sure i did, plenty of sense!!! a fade is a taper that deals with SHADES dark to light from top to bottom or light to dark bottom to top. A taper deals with LENGTHS long to short top to bottom, short to long bottom to top. A taper is anything that gets narrow towards the bottom like the letter v, a funnel, a lightbulb, an icecream cone etc. therefor, all fades are tapers but not all tapers are fades, and the pic fades to the skin making it a skin fade or bald fade.
@hampton769 where is the hair not laying down??? and if youre talking about the line at the temple/sideburn area, thats called a fade, not lost, but purposely blended out!! but thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!!!
Great haircut John, and I like what you did with the video!! I really like the haircut in the opening clip, very similar to my current style-clean and old school!
Hey dude what kind of product did you use on his hair, it seems like it slicks real nice and still keeps its hold. I slick my hair to the side but have to use got 2 b glue which ends up keeping my hair hard, so any advice?

@izayuh31 Hey, I used a pomade called spike it from clubman pinaud. To my understanding they don't make it any more but along the same line(and better smell) try layrite from hawleywoods. Depending on the client, I also use woodys glue and pomade, and old school products like brylcreem and black and white pomade. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!!
@piepiemushroom yeah, silent films moved fast so that was the intent of this video. Not to show technique, but to have fun with the style of cut. Thanks for watching!!!

you clipped too high into the crown, thats why the hair wouldn't comb back and you also lost the line on his left side

Now that's hair style, I had the same hair style in the 80's. It was great and always stayed shape underneath any hat.
