Interesting, and historically important, can sense a real power in this. He certainly was a controversial figure, and by all accounts, a fascinating and complex man.
He was a real practitioner of the Western Tradition of ritual Magick, with an accompanying intellect, a real maverick, and a man of commitment to his chosen path. These are not bad things, and I am a great believer in finding the POSITIVE in everything, and everyone, why not?

If you've read you'd know that V and W and U can be used respectively when spelling IT's name (also consider that V W and U were related in Old English. i.e. the words VVitch and word like "figvre"). Cute. The main focuses of Crowley's work involved the Enochian System and Solomonous Magick --all of which are original Magick systems that came from Divinities of God (YHVH) or ordered by Enoch. In doctrine, it is correct, and not frowned upon. These rituals do have effects that have been documented. Whether they are babble or actually have divine significance does not matter --however they do effect the human conscience in a way that is measurable and have constants.

Personally I think my own voice is more impressive than Crowley. He sounds like Elmer Fudd. When in intonation mine is deeper, given on occasion interchangeably to growling and hissinig, to where where the very aether about me seems to start quivering.

Crowley was a poseur, first he ripped off Slidell Lidell MacGrethor Mathers; he ended up splitting up the New Reform Order of the Golden Dawn, then he formed local chapters of German occutlic groups like Ordo Templis Oriente and Ordo Argentum Astrum .
And even though he's given credit for the Wiccan Rede, there's no telling who he ripped off for that beyond the Irish chapter of the Medmenham Monks (The Hellfire Club).

These calls are used primarily in Angelic Magick rituals. Nothing sinister about it really. Discovered by Dr John Dee and sir Edward Kelly in the 1400's (I think). Look them up on google mate.

@michael616joaquin No, he wasn't. And if there IS any connection, it is wholly vicarious. Crowley sought, for a VERY large portion of his life, Divine Union with YHVH and the Godhead. This goes in direct contrast with what I am aware to be Satanism.
Satanism is hallmarked by the Inverted Pentagram, which is symbolic of Matter triumphing over the Spirit. This is NOT an idea with which Crowley would've agreed with. That is what he spent decades trying to NOT do with his magick.
