  • My mom is a hairdresser and she says this is HORRIBLE FOR UR HAIR!

  • This process uses way too much heat!

  • I am black and my presses with the pressing comb & flat iron leaves my hair much straighter than this....Not to mention healthier and more bouncy and way more shiny...no grease, just 100% pure virgin coconut oil...very light! My presses last me 2-3 weeks easily. Granted the BB promises 12 weeks, but my presses are much safer as there's no FORMALDEHYDE. I haven't had a perm in 11 years and my hair once blow dried & pressed, is BONE straight!! "I ain't gonna lie!"

  • @i569joy What is "My Presses"?

  • Umm...is that a wooden spoon??? I know it's to protect the ear from the heat of the dryer, but if I'm paying money for any salon treatment I aid in that treatment!!! Salon innovation..lol

  • its pretty cool

  • Wow even I know this was done wrong. I only started watching these vids 2 days ago

  • I dunno it doesn't look like anything other than a relaxer to me and as a cosmetologist I don't know what is supposed to be spectacular about this process. Actually it looks over processed lets see what happens if one keeps this activity up.

  • The lady doing her hair did not do it correctly.

when she first blew the hair dry straight with the blow dryer , she should of used a brush (either paddle or round brush ) that way the hair would of dried straighter so she would not of had to run the flat iron through 10 times . Also after flat ironing the hair straight she was suppose to rinse and condition the hair. In order to get rid of the Keratin residue that was applied. Then blow dry the hair straight.

  • @AlphaMoe You are correct.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of stylists not doing the procedure correctly all the way through.

  • Comment removed

  • @AlphaMoe I would like to know why some hairdresser do not rinse out the keratin (active product) and does this make a difference with the result? I live in a very humid country and find my hair gets frizzy after the treatment.. looks great until you get out into the heat! I have hair think long curly hair down to my waist when straight of mix race.

  • How many oz did you use for her hair?

  • o.o... wow the stylist really wanted the hair to be bone straight

  • As many times as that lady put the straightener through her hair she might as well get a relaxer. I never had to put my flat iron through my hair 6 to 7 times....

  • doing hair like this with that much heat will make u bald, the lady ran the flat iron through her hair like 6 times thats way way 2 much

  • sounds magical

but good sense makes you curious to want to see this model's hair after a week, month two or three.

also note the condition & length of her hair is insignificant, so if you have an experimental attitude towards your hair you may try this, but keep in mind you could experience skin damage, heat damage, and hair loss.

  • @Whitmenic12 it you chemically or thermally process, how is that natural.

careful with the advice it will revert over time...it does not revert totally or evenly.

if you try this be prepaired to watch your hair become stiff, shed, and have the same or worse new growth issues of a relaxer.

  • @Whitmenic12 yes you can get it if your hair is natural, it is not a permanent process so over time your hair will revert to what its natural texture is.

  • I have a question can someone please answer??

if anyone has ever used this, but is not from African descent ( like white girl or asian girl hair LOL) is it succesful? recomendations?

  • is this like a perm or relaxer

  • @hyphygirl20 no its not a perm or relaxer because those treatments are permanent meaning you would have to cut your hair off or wait till your natural hair grows out if you choose to stop relaxing or perming. The Brazilian treatment is temporary, it straightens your hair while strengthening it.

  • where do you get it done?

  • she didn't do the last process with the mask but do you even have to do that step

  • My Question Is Why Cant The Lady Keep Her Head Stil And Is She Of African American Desent B/c There Are Different Ways To Take Care Of Certain Cultures Hair You Cant Just Do Iht

  • do not do this if ur has been already chemically treated with a relaxer the trick is they just change the words around to make u think it has less chemicals or none trust if it dont fall out now it will later

  • I wonder Y you musn't apply it near the root?

  • @karenbcz22 YEA AND IF ITS SO NATURAL THEN WHY IS SHE WEARING GLOVES TO APPLY IT? HMMMMMMM

  • I am terrified for the flat ironing part! It looks like like my hair would be fried. I need to get over that part to be able to do it.

  • congrats your hair looks great! oh, and by the way you've shortened your life by like 5 years...and if you do in fact get the cancer that the chemicals (carcinogens) cause...maybe more.

  • is this like a perm or relaxer

  • yea it looks harsh if she's wearin gloves.

  • @LUXEnNATURAL EXACTLY WHAT I JUST SAID

  • its soo cool iv done it my hair was burend by colors

and its awsome now after o made this tretment on my hair

  • awesom

  • does it burn if it is applied on the scalp

  • no just tingle but not burn

  • that looks very nice!

  • Does this stuff have harsh chemicals in it? If it does I really cant use it.

  • i dont think so...the process uses keratin, which is a protein found in hair and skin so if anything, is probably strengthens hair

  • Um yes it does, formaldehyde.

  • i was wondering the same thing

  • love it

  • I want to know what the hair looks like once it has been wet again! I'm noit so impressed with all of the blowdrying and flat-ironing,because we know it will be straight, but what happens after the hair is wet again?

  • It works really well. Like, my hair is 4b (kinky curls) and when my hair got wet, it reverted to loose waves. Very easy to wash, blow dry and style.

    *SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT*

Check out my videos. They're not long :)

  • youre not supposed to wash it for about 5 days so the product can set in. afterwards the hair will still be straight after washing for about 4 months

  • @japanroll I thought it was 10

  • @traceymanzano they blow dry it and flat iron it so much when they;re applying it because the heat seals in the product. After you've gotten the treatment there is no need to blow dry/ flat iron on a daily/regular basis because the treatment is to make your hair straight ( for approx. 3-4 months).

  • does this work with very curly hair? not kinky, just very curly?

  • ya.
