  • "make us our favourite jam, nobody loves us"

  • bangin' choooon 2k10+2 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • anybody know where I can find a video that isn't live?

  • Best Moz ever...

  • This is in my Morrissey top 1.

  • Incredible. I never knew this was played live. Thanks so much for uploading!

  • To those asking where this song is from, it's not on a studio album, but was released as a B-side to Dagenham Dave.

Astonishing this didn't make it onto Southpaw Grammar. Actually my favourite EVER Morrissey song. Just when you think it's going to end... it goes up another gear. Spectacular!

  • @stanleymchale1977 This and Edges are no longer....... should have both been on the album. He's lost the knack of tracklisting perfect albums which is such a shame.

  • WE JUST CANT WAIT TO MAKE MORE MISTAKES...

  • Any chance of putting the single version from My Early Burglary Years up?

  • @420megadeth It's from 'My early burglary years' :) GREAT SONG!

  • a beautiful track. chords are ;

  • You know, my single most favourite thing about Morrissey is that even during his most unbearable, tragic times, he can't resist dropping a little humour in there too. I love this man, he's my own personal Jesus.

  • @JanineRobin Awesome comment.

  • Can someone get me some chords on this song? I have been trying for a while it is tough. I have F# B A and a C# somewhere.

Help me out. This is my favorite Morrissey song! Never loosen the grip!

  • Call us home, make our tea.

  • sit down ffs

  • Can someone stick up the studio version of this song please. TIA

  • never losing the grip on our hand...

  • @simonesmiths Never LOOSEN.

  • Things can only improve... Brilliant!!

  • damn i miss alain whyte.

  • this is one of the best! This song represents a lot of my life when i was a young... I miss Moz of those times!

  • Brilliant song. I wonder who has the original tape of this (i.e the bloke who filmed it).

  • This is one of my favorite songs by him -it has deep personal meaning to me..

  • @tomk773 , probably like me it speaks volumes about childhood, .

  • I love this song, thanks a lot for posting this video =)

  • Morrissey is a like a fine wine, gets better the older it gets!!!!!!!!!!

  • make us our favourite jam,no body loves us'...brilliant song!!

  • It beggars belief that this was shoved on a b-side! Mind you there are lots of good Moz b-sides! Great song this.

  • Best moz song ever...

  • One of the very best...

  • Can't wait to receiver the reissue of Southpaw, I believe this song is included.

    Nobody Loves Me :(

  • outsiders tour. morrissey at his best promoting his best album.

  • It has to be one of my all time fav's songs. Moz has never lost the grip on his hands! How I wish to see him play alive...Thank you Moz, you have saved my life!!!

  • one of his best solo songs. Hard to Believe he didn't include it on one of his 'regular' albums. Amazing

  • B-sides are often recorded afterwards.

  • wow

    this sounds great live.

and seeing the guitar work being done right there is very cool.

  • one of his best songs better than his recent stuff

  • I think the last 4 studio albums could all have been improved by replacing weaker tracks with stronger b-sides.

There are songs on 'Southpaw...' that aren't as good 'Nobody Loves Us', songs on 'Maladjusted' that aren't as good as 'Lost' or 'This is Not Your Country', songs on '... Quarry,' that aren't as good as 'Its Hard to Walk Tall ..,' 'Never Played Symphonies,' '...Daddy's Voice' and 'Friday Mourning' and songs on 'Ringleader...' that aren't as good as 'Ganglord' and 'Good Looking Man...'

  • so true

  • I've seen Morrissey a few times and it always makes me smile when he'll put b-sides in a set over album tracks that an audience would be more familiar with. I remember in late 2004 'Friday Mourning,' 'Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice,' 'Munich Air Disaster 1958,' "The Never Played Symphonies" were all played as well as 'Redondo Beach.' I like these songs, but it killed the atmosphere.

  • i think most moz fans will agree that this is certainly one of his best songs. top twenty fiveish........eek, i love this song...top 10

  • @timmythepierate - totally agreed... I perfermed a tribute night in Miami, and i made sure we played this song- the crowd responce was like: wow... noone ever plays this tune!! long live The Moz

  • It's such a mystery this song. The B-Side to Dagenham Dave, it was easily the best of the Southpaw Grammar sessions and is in every sensible person's Top 10 Moz tracks. It's a blinder.

Moz seems reluctant here though. He couldn't imagine that nine years on he'd be playing 20,000 people at the M.E.N. and be the press Darling again.

    But 1995 were good times...

  • I agree with you.

  • this is a GREAT song!!! I really hope he plays it when he does Waukegan in October'07!!! What a great song!

  • One of my favs!

  • You have made my night, my day, my month, my year, my life...

  • Fantastic song and performance. It never got any better for Morrissey's band than this. So why was this song buried on a B-side?

  • this song is in the album "My Early Burglary Years".. which is a lovely song...

  • great song, i just wonder why he doesn't play it anymore in gigs.

  • thanx! great song
