@x2p428 Churchill Meadows is just another anonymous Mississauga suburb that has nothing unique about it. There are few places in Mississauga that are nice, Port Credit is by far the nicest. Lorne Park has nice homes on nice lots but it is has centre or gathering place.

I lived in Port Credit from 1967 to 1982, loved it. I've been back twice, it was better 30 years ago.

Wow..that's a long time..I moved to P.C in 1977..Lived in a few different areas of the city..throughtout the years..Port Credit is certainly a special spot in the city..Getting better all the time..Especially in the Summer..Cheers, D :)

Typical 905. Seeing 'hoods as towns with populations and boundaries. Port Credit is no more a "quaint villiage" than retail strips in T.O.

That being said, it is nice there.

I lived there for 2 months last summer and loved it. I moved there for work. Im back home in Whitby for now but Id love to move back someday.

Why are all the stores closing? The grocery store is going to be torn down. Other than that, great place to live. I guess.

@SadieRaleigh They are going to put a very upscale condo in it's place, because of the view of the lake. There was a town hall meeting where there was a small-scale model of it. It will be beautiful, and I believe they are building it so it will be able to have a grocery store on the main floor facing Lakeshore. (Probably not a No Frills!)
