I'd have to argue that while Ezio was probably more all-around badass, Altair was the better assassin of the two. Thing is, Altair was a killer with acrobatic skills. Ezio was an acrobat with killing skills. If you had access to both their services, I would use Altair when I wanted somebody quietly removed from the equation. I would send Ezio when I wanted someone's ass kicked.

Altair was a better assassin, he used less gadgets and had more training then ezio. Altair was also in my opinion more wise. I wish there would be another ac dedicated to Altair because he was one of few that could resist the temptation of the apple. Don't get me wrong I like ezio but I don't like his charismatic trait a.k.a flirting, it gives me the impression he is cocky. Altair was more modest.
