  • ...and neva neva neva

  • never never never :P

  • -_-

    booooo

  • my polevault p.b is 3,80m thats good for me 15 years old

  • so when he says the pole should match the persons body weight, does that mean the pole has to weigh the same as the vaulter?

  • no, it has a number at the top that has a max weight, u shudnt be over it, if your really good and strong you can usualy use a pole meant for someone much heavier, that way it flings you higher in the air

  • @XmercyX831 No, the weight printed on the pole is not the actual weight of the pole, its the weight that the pole can safely support when vaulting.

  • ooh, im in pole vaulting, but we havent started the actual vaulting yet. im really excited! :)

  • Im 14 and i jump 3,15m but i'm allmoust a new guy in polevoult is that good?

  • yeahhh im goin to his camp friday =]

  • i have a freshman girl on my team who cleared 10 6

  • thats like a world record for girls

  • @IAREMEBCV 10'6 a world record? No. Definitely not. I know sophomore girls in high school that can vault higher. I've only been vaulting a couple months and I'm already at 8'6 and still improving rapidly.

  • @NowWheresJoe

    where are yoo now?

  • i can get 10' in 8th grade

  • i recently cleared 11'4'' :)

  • Everyone...

    that is bull..

    Because

1] American Frosh Record is: 15'0 all time. In High School.

2]A freshman will most likely not have the strength to vault that high.

3]You need a lot of time to atleast get to 15' or 16'.

  • thats a load of bullshit

  • I'm pretty sure the world record is like 15 ft, so 4 feet from the world record?

  • I can i get 9 6 in 8th grade i think its possible

  • hmm... so what did you get in eighth grade?

it would be totally awesome if you really do go 11'1''. but honestly i'd have to see it before i believed it.

so you should do a video.

  • My son is in middle school (14 yr old) he's clearing 10' so far with no training other than learning off other vaulters. We haven't got a pole vault coach in our middle school so these videos are awesome!!

  • great video, the guy at the beginning sounds like kermit the frog!

  • safety? an important issue in the vault? My coach said that the two words you'll never hear in pole vault are - Health - and safety.

    He's an awesome coach.

  • the best best best my school got and this asian man hold the record is 13 feet and 4 inches!!! go AZN

  • 16 feet as a freshman huh? Probably a lie but goodluck to you!

  • Great Work. Thank you very Much!

  • hm so i guess ur like all state (maybe all american) as a freshman

    i believe it...

  • whoa 16 feet as a freshmen are you going to China this summer for the nationals or wait are you lying???

  • great video i love itt!!

  • what happened to we will talk about technique later...i didnt need to see 8 minutes of safety that i already knew...
