@flwheel3 I've seen a pretty good way of creating an fx alike latex is using gelatne with a little watter, then melt it in the microwave, i've seen it in a walking dead tutorial.

@flwheel3 if you mix 2 table spoons glycerin(usually found by bandaids and is about 5 bucks), 2 tablespoons water, and 2 table spoons unflavored gelatin mix it together and heat for 20 seconds in the microwave but do not over heat and let it set about 10 minutes and works awesomely you can store it in the fridge and it pulls easily out of your bowl and when you wanna reuse the leftovers just reheat it because it gets all jellowy...hope this helped :)

That´s a nice low budget make up dudes. I am into that myself and i try to make good things for less money using stuff that lays arprund at home and cheap products that people don´t usally think one can use for make-up fx and such.

I think the some should have more paint on and more darker colors dudes but otherwise that´s a cool zombie make-up

I would throw some mud all over the actor, wait until the mud is dry, that should give it a nice "rotten" texture, and then just trhow some blood ramdonly over it. its just an idea for extreme low budget, I think it would work at least for long shots.

The face was a prosthetic piece sculpted and produced from 'Hot foam' by myself. The rest of the head and hands were covered with tissue and latex (fantastic and very effective for low budget) The skull underneath was made from tissue latex and cotton wool.

I bought a cheap bald cap and it has a bump on top. Is there any way to get rid of the bump? I stretched it down and the bump went down, but sprung back again when I let go lol.

That's the problem with those cheap bald caps, I only use them for undercaps, it happens to me on the video, but I intended to use tissue and latex over the top. Plus they are way too thick to use as a proper bald cap, you can get good ones that will cost you about 10-20 pounds.
