  • I hope that I too can die fighting for a cause that is just. A truly just cause, not one pushed on me by some corrupt government or by the biased ignorance of a society long decrepit. In other words, I desire what the spartans called "a good death." My greatest fear is to slowly rot from old age and disease.

  • ..somehow this scene reminds of the scene in tangled..sadly V doesnt comes back to life ;A; ..this is one of my moooost favorited scene in the movie <3 love it

  • I love throughout this entire movie that although V wears a mask, you can feel every emotion through his voice. Genius in never showing his face.

  • Did you record this with a shoe?

  • V for Vendetta...better love story than Twilight

  • @TheSmartSheep You had to bring up Twilight. T_T

  • HE DIED WHITH A SMILE AT FACE!

  • yes, it is :)

  • Excerpt from the Quote-Book of Solomon Short

    (-David Gerrold)

It ain't so hard to die for a cause.

    Any idiot can do that.

What takes real genius is living for one.

    ...and THAT is OUR challenge!

Committing yourself to the struggle against injustice, in all it's forms, day after day, week after week, month after month; without compromising with evil, without surrendering to despair, futility, or bone-acheing weariness, THAT is the hard part.

    It's worth it

    But it's the ONLY way.

  • I just (finally) saw this movie a few weeks ago.... its downright awesome and It really makes you think. By that I mean, people can blindly follow a single person or entity (cough the goverment cough) and yet they and perhaps even those reading this are getting screwed over. Once the light has been shown, once the truth has been seen... they will be set free.

  • I think V is the type of man every woman or girl probably fantasies of with those same values... And shit... I'M ONE OF THEM. ;D

  • Be right back, crying my eyes out forever.

  • Those three who didn't like this scene don't know nothing about love and hate!!Don't know how to make a move and accept your own death!!!This scene is awesome and we are always going to remember the 5th of November!!!And everything else in this world who died for the good!!GOD IS IN THE RAIN PEOPLE!!

  • Why do all the awesome characters in movies based on Alan Moore Comics die? Rorschach, V, what next?

  • If there's one great thing this movie achieved it's that protesters now wear 'V' Guy Fawkes masks as a sign of solidarity when something really IS going wrong on both sides of the atlantic.

  • There is one quote that may describe V's comment that "... the most beautiful you could have ever given me." That quote is:

"By the time he died, he wished it mattered that he lived."

  • not as beautiful as valaries story/message

  • This is a good scene but it's better in the graphic novel where, as V is dying, Evey puts on a Fawkes mask and literally becomes the new 'V' to lead the revolt.

"Give me a Vikings' funeral, Evey... "

    "It's yours, my love... it's yours... "

  • well, it is if you finish the f*ing scene!

  • thumbs up if your a grown man but cried at this part

  • @brett42k yep. i did

  • @VforVendettafangirl I agre with you! His voice is beautiful, i wish that V is real!! *-* I love this the movie.. The scene is so sad and beautiful :'( <3

  • Today is 5th, and it's November.3 years ago, I watched this movie first time, and today I'm going to watch it again.I'll change my messenger and skype status, and avatar, and I'll change my facebook photo, and I'll watch all day clips like this one, and I'll write on my left hand a big V, and I'll read opinions about this movie. Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici !

  • @Monsoon6662 We could need V! The world is so broken. I think the whole film represents the story of our real life! Maybe it's a bit worse in the film but the story of the movie is almost the same like the story of our world...

  • @kiefer1house2 Oh yes I also love his voice... I wish V would be real ! ^_^

  • you can really tell a girls beautiful even though shes somewhat bald she is still freakin gorgeous...

  • Natalie Portman is always going out with the Badboys (and occasional badgirls) in a lot of her films.

  • The one dislike must have been McCready because he knows that V won

  • Comment removed

  • 0:02 you spelled 'world' wrong

  • V: I told you, only truth. For 20 years, I sought only this day. Nothing else existed... until I saw you. Then everything changed. I fell in love with you Evey. And to think I no longer believed I could.

Evey: But I don't want you to die.

V: That's the most beautiful thing you could have ever given me.

  • Is very sad that good guys die, and the bad guys live. However, the Good always manage to defeat the evil, no matter how powerful evil is.

  • @firelo89 rather than praying make sure that you act against them. prayer = how to do nothing and still think you are helping

  • looks like ideas weren't entirely bullet proof

  • @Runna716 ZING.

    nah but seriously...

  • @Runna716 they are. people aren't. V is a person, but the mask is the idea. he dies, but people still march and finch lets Evey set off the train.

  • lag much?

  • @jonwhyte92 If you think so don't watch it!!!

  • @jonwhyte92 Wow I think god forgot to give you a brain! Why do you watch it and say that? If you don't like the movie don't watch it and don't give an comment like this!

  • @jonwhyte92 Wow I think god forgot to give you a brain!

Why do you watch it and say that?

If you don't like the movie don't watch it and don't give an comment like this!

  • @VforVendettafangirl and this is lame as fuck.

  • No, its's shit some gay old man and some bald lesbian chick, watch love actually or summik dat's a real film!

  • @jonwhyte92 ..Mmmm let me guess .. 17yrs old, face like a zit farm, high functioning autistic for self masturbation and your best friend is your PS3.

Can read you like a traffic light game boy ..

  • @morklind my username that you replied has my date of birth, work it out...your a moron.

  • @jonwhyte92 Seriously? .. you are one of those numpties that end a username with your birth year?!!!

So I was only 2 years out.

Like I said, you are cliche. Bedroom curtains drawn most of the day and your floor full of crusty tissue paper.

Glad you didn't have to correct my other deductions you stupid asinine dick udder.

  • @morklind Your getting really worked up over this, lol. I think your abit obessed with this film. You probably think 9/11 was an inside job too. Your life is as lame as this scene.

  • @jonwhyte92 Whatever. I almost care. You have neither the wit nor the intellect to make a point. Get back in your cubby hole .. game boy.

  • @morklind What the fuck are you talking about? you couldn't even work out, that 1992 is 19 years ago you bloody fool. What point was I trying to make, enlighten me? You stupid american twat.

  • @jonwhyte92 With every cow pat of verbiage you disgorge your stupidity becomes more apparent. Sit down, tie yourself in and try and follow

    1. ".. so I was only 2 years out.." (from my initial presumption that you were a 17yr idiot) does 17 + 2 = some other number in your universe?

    2. your retort "...What point was I trying to make ..."

    ..EXACTLY you spunkmonkey.

I REPEAT from previous comment "..You have neither the wit nor the intellect to make a point.."

You can leave class now ..

  • @morklind You haven't proved any point apart from the fact you can't count. Repeating a comment of yours? Thats just embarrassing. Your a moron. stop talking to me.

  • @jonwhyte92 You over-used butt plug .. these thread of comments dont disappear .. sticking your jizz covered fingers in your ears and murmuring "nah nah nah.." doesn't make your verbiage go away ...DICKWEED.

I almost feel guilty. I have made you look the idiot you are, I understand that. You are too easy.

Next time stick to trolling a telly tubbies forum you pointless illiterate cock smoker.

  • @morklind You've made me look like an idiot? I'm cringing while reading your comments your vile and have a sick mind. Of course you've won because you can't lose because your so far up your own arse anyway. And stop talking about penis, it's weird. Get out of your bedsit and get a job, for the record though I do like this film and just think people like you ruin it by over hyping it. trolling is bit of harmless fun, deal with it.

  • @morklind

Do you really have to have a stupid argument all over this scene? Having a broad vocabulary is not an excuse to be immature all over a genuinely good video on youtube. Misusing a broad vocabulary is a mark of pompous stupidity. Big words are not there to twist into insults a six-year-old would come up with. I like this scene and don't see it as the proper forum for a fight. Especially one like this.

  • @jonwhyte92 Your a moron.

... Do you see anything wrong with this? It's the wrong form of your. You used incorrect grammar in an insult to someone's intelligence. Usually I'd see this as none of my business and move right along, but really? First off, the irony. Second, I love this scene and I'm a little bit ashamed that you two chose it as a venue for a stupid fight.

  • @rustysilverlining Troll.

  • @rustysilverlining What are you? Grammar police?

  • @morklind also nyan.

  • @jonwhyte92 "The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous." In other words, DEATH TO V FOR VENDETTA HATERS!

  • @ApocalypticLacrymosa By Saying death to V for vendetta haters, you are the same as those who you claim to fight against, our views and opinions should be protected above all else, for they make us who we are they create us as individuals.

  • *sniffle sniffle*

    I love this movie...

    *sob*

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW

  • in the last few months iv pretty much been living in a fantisy. iv been reading books full of thrills and dark romance and watching movies just the same and now i wish with alllll my heart that something different wood happen to me. the real world seems to be getting further and further away =S does it mean im going mental or just want something more than a boring normal life?? xxx

  • @ShadowBabe1996 Here is my advice. If you want something make, it happen. Dare to do something, dare to move.

  • @4sunsetgirl i will dare to move.

im 16, and i will purchase a mask. and try to change my country, dont think i can

do it? well its the attempt that counts.

  • SPOILER ALERT!

  • We need a savior....we need a V!

  • i just watched this movie for the first time last night, this part made me cry so hard and even harder when i saw V's body surrounded by roses. Best send off ever though, right into parliament.

  • cry every time..

  • I fell in love with this movie, i actually still can't understand why people dont fcking wake up 2 reality when these movies are being broadcasted 2 a wide audiance is everybody just in a trance like state? The message that this movie delivers is obvious innit. Wake up!!!

  • @Tricksatrick Ahaha, that's cute, the whole "the government is TOTALLY evil and CORRUPT Paranoia deal.

That's really cute. Try to educate yourself. It will take more than one action film by the way.

  • @Sovember It's a Dystopia movie. That's what the genre is for, to remind us where we shouldn't go. What you've said is like looking down on horror movies because they present the world 'as if everything's scary paranoia deal'. Appreciate it for what it is and think outside your own bubble or ignore the genre.

  • @MrAronRobinson Yes and not a very good Dystopia movie, I understand there's shit happening but this movie is just straight out ridiculous, case closed.

  • @Sovember The film is based on the graphic novel by the same name. It's meant to be a bit 'out there'; a kind of far-fatched dystopian view of what could happen if governments are allowed to strip away our rights and freedoms. Some of those who hate this film see it as 'leftist' propaganda, but whenever I've asked them to explain that, they either babble on about the 'gay agenda' (?) or claim it promotes terrorism, leaving me to suspect they hadn't actually *watched* the film at all.

  • @Tricksatrick So true. Patriot Act, SOPA, NDAA, the brutal crackdown and arrests of occupy wall street protestors. US is slowly turning into a police state...

  • @Konane117 They have set in motion something they can not stop :-).

  • @Tricksatrick "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people."

    _

    But, this is currently happening:

"[They] promised you order, [they] promised you peace, and all [they] demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent."

    _

But i guess that the riots that will come (because corruption, censorship, and oppression) soon will be a significant turn of events for me. It will be the "end of the world" as we know it. And interpret this fully.

  • I wish my name was Evey so I could close my eyes and imagine it were me. =(

  • blah.

  • I like the scene where he kills the botanist more. It's so simple and well-done.

  • <3

  • I like this movie because it is not just volince it has meaning unlike movies of today

  • this is EXACTLY what I was thinking /watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&ob=av2e

  • I just can't watch this beautiful scene without crying my heart out. :(

    So beautiful and so sad.

Best movie ever, by the way. <3

  • I DON'T WANNA GIVE YOU UP, NEVER GONNA LET YOU GO...

  • guys under the mask its just agent smith

  • @warrennguyen08 true but a great actor old hugo weaving. ( also elrond to put a happy spin on it )

  • Brilliant movie! !

  • @jasonhydro then why the hell are you watching this and taking time to comment? if you dont like it then keep your opinions to yourself and stop bashing on one of the greatest movies of all time.

  • most beautiful scene ever ....

if only we could have seen V's face, behind the mask, for everyone has a special place in their heart for V, our mysterious, masked man from room five

V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a man in a mask.

Evey Hammond: Well I can see that.

V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.

  • ಥ_ಥ

  • I want to see the scene where they kiss cause I can just imagine V's face he was probably like o.O thinking "wow she kissed me through the mask...I can die happy now"

  • Oh I cried so much when he died. I don't know if I am the only who thinks V is so damn cute.

He looks so mysterious and so strong.

V you will always be in our hearts... <3

  • @VforVendettafangirl I thought I was the only one who thought this way :'3 ♥

  • @VforVendettafangirl his voice is so sexy and seductive

  • @VforVendettafangirl girl i cried so much i wanted to die along side him. hes so damn cute. girl i agree with u 1000% he wll be in both of our hearts

  • I came so close to crying when he died. "That is the most beautiful thing you could've given me." That just touches my heart. Best, saddest, most beautiful, and loveliest scene.

  • can anyone tell the music title of this scene ??

  • Very beautiful scene. I love this film.

  • Man, that one line - Hugo Weaving is amazing. I cry every single time I see this. Stunning. Love this movie so damn much <3<3<3

  • Guys, the comic book came before the movie. In the comic book, V dies, and in a much less glorious way. If he didn't die, well, that'd just be blasphemy.

  • V: "that is the most beautiful thing you could have ever given me."

    me: *SOB*

at that moment this became one of my favoite movies. So. beautiful. . . !!!

  • @XLadyBellaMuerteX ..Yes..brings out something in me that has been waiting deep within.....

  • "That is the most beautiful thing you could have ever given me."

That line seriously gets to me. I always weep when he says that.

  • i cried

  • wish he hadn't died. I understand why they went that way with the story but... still. T_T *tears*

  • @CortSether i think she's good. she's alright. shes cute at least.! ha.

  • This scene makes my heart hurt when he says nothing else matterd than I saw you and I feel in love with you. *burst in to tears*

  • You should look into the scene with the actress and her autobiography when Evee is captured it's one of the most beautiful parts of the movie I cry nearly every time I watch it

"An inch, it is small and it is fragile and it is the only thing in the world worth having"

  • This, and the scene with the doctor, always gets me. "Is it too late to apologize?" "It's never too late."

  • ye same, the dr one i was close to tears, i cant find it on here, if u can let me know

  • @TheFallenCanRise "Is it meaningless to apologize?"

    "Never."

  • i literally weep when i watch this scene <3
