This is a good scene but it's better in the graphic novel where, as V is dying, Evey puts on a Fawkes mask and literally becomes the new 'V' to lead the revolt.

You should look into the scene with the actress and her autobiography when Evee is captured it's one of the most beautiful parts of the movie I cry nearly every time I watch it
