  • 9839 solutions.

  • I do think that the 10,000 solutions claim is true. But the reason why it's so hard to find one is the fact that there are also an infinite amount of wrong solutions. So what are the odds of finding a solution at all?

  • Thank you! This thing was driving me crazy. I agree, I think the 10,000 solutions claim can't be true.

  • Nice video! Now my tetris cube pieces will FINALLY take up less space! :D

  • What is Lightwave either way?

  • YESSSSS! Thanks so much!

  • Thanks bud needed this badly :) !!!!!!!!!

  • nice man best vid on youtube by far really helpful and plus just looks cool. :)

  • OMG it i really needed this badly

  • Really good, thanx!

  • thank you!! i was getting so mad at the cube lol

  • like

  • not bad but there's something better at

    inzane thingz puzzles on YouTube

  • Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I am wondering how video of somebody putting 3 pieces of a puzzle together is better than this animation, though...

  • Man !

    I am putting 3 pieces together ?

Better see the whole video !

You can win $ 1,000 and you will certainly have more fun putting it together than your tetris.

But hey,who am I to tell you which puzzle should you like.

    Peace

    George

  • and btw your video is much better than mine as far as animation , I must admit that

  • bought mine last summer 9839 solutions im to stoopid to find one

  • thanks a load. i had it for christmas and i went bonkers solving it, after i did it i accidently dropped it and i didnt wast to go through my mental pain again so THANKS!!!

  • HA I GOT IT!!!! i bought mine like 2 weeks ago and that shit almost drove me nuts!!!! now that is full ama give it to my worst enemy so he can go loco!!! thanx dude

  • Wow thank you so much, I've never solved mine in almost 2 years since I got it.

  • niceone m8 thanks

  • thx!!

  • THANK YOU!

My Tetris cube has been unsolved for MONTHS. I can finally put it back in the box :)

    Nice animation as well.

  • Thanks a lot! :)

  • i havnt done my geometry homework for 3 weeks cause ive been trying too do this.....

  • finally after so many years =D

  • Thank you. x x x x

  • Everytime my sons makes mess of our cube this video helps, Thanks

  • No...Lightwave

    --The Stryker

  • Dude that animations is awesome. Is that software hard or simple to use?

  • There are easier programs to use, but I've been working on Lightwave many, many years...since version 3.1...so I really know my way around it. Start to finish, I spent maybe two hours on this. I don't really remember.

    --The Stryker

  • This took me years to solve....im relieved

  • Yes, the "9,839 Solutions" claim has to be a scam

  • Comment removed

  • thank. you. i was getting so pissed off

  • THIS ROCKS

  • thankyou now i can pack this bastard puzzle up! Fantastic animation.

  • its a bedlam cube not a tetris cube -.-

  • Um, it says "Tetris cube" on the box that I bought it in, and one of the blocks says "Tetris cube" also, so I'm pretty sure I know what it is.

    --The Stryker

  • Thats just because the maker put shitty colours on it and made it seem as if they invented it

  • mines wooden and it has Tetris Cube marked on 1 of the sides (big logo) and one of the outside blocks says tetris cube, either way it kicks ass

  • ACTUALLY, there's a big difference.

The Bedlam cube is composed of a subset of the possible 3-D pieces derived from the twelve 2-D pentominos, each having 5 cubes, plus a single 4-cube piece. There are 13 pieces.

The Tetris Cube is composed of 3D pieces based on 2-D tetronimoes, and has 12 pieces.

Looks similar, pieces are shaped differently and ends up being a completely different puzzle. Don't say shit you're not sure of without simply googling it first.

  • sorry my mistake :(

  • no worries <3

haha, just be a thinker and not an expert!

  • Thank god :o

  • i love it yahoo

  • i think it means for with one to start

  • Great job on the clear animation.

    Thanks!

  • If i only found this before i threw it out. XD

  • you tube solves all problems

  • thank you sooo much

  • Thanks for this.

  • WOOOHOOOO

  • Finally Done it!

  • FINNALY!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!

  • I have been eating cheese!

  • thank you!!!!

we borrowed this off a friend at christmas because they couldnt solve it!!

    its really hard.

    well done.

  • wow thank you soooo much!!! ive been trying for a fortnight

  • omg thanx sooo much. ive been stumnped on this for like a week now lol

  • And the music adds a nice touch for one as old school as me! Thanks!!!

  • I wrote a computer program to calculate all the unique solutions to the tetris cube. The program calculated 9839 solutions.

  • hahaha omg thank you so much

you saved me alot of stress ahaha

i've been trying to figure this out for atleast the past 2 weeks!

    i gave i, but oh well :)

  • thanks at least this can look nice on my dressure when i put it up there i still cant beleive theres 9839 solutions and i couldnt find one!(yet)

  • thanks for this,

ive had a really stressful xmas trying to figure it out!!!

    (Y)

  • buddy you just saved me alot of hours. It is one of the hardest puzzels i have ever come across. Thank you sooooooo much!

  • hey do u think this wuld make a good christmas present for my bro who is a complete rubiks cube fanatic. i saw of these at barnes and nobles and i wuznt sure if a rubiks cuber wuld like a tetris cube or not so i thoght id ask.

  • The tetris cube is nothing like the rubik's!!

The tetris cube is a lot harder and stupider!!

  • shutup xovius ur just mad cuz ur too retarded to solve it

  • your all dumb as hell you can put it in sideways or upside down, that's 4 solutions right there.

--The Smartest man in the world--

  • I hope you're kidding.

If you're counting turning it, then you have six solutions, not 4.

And we're not counting turning it. That's the "duh" factor.

--The Actual Smartest Man In The World

    --The Stryker

  • haha nice u got em there

  • just saying a quick thanks for putting this together. at least now I can put it back in the box when I've lost patience.

  • There are 6 in this video. You rotate it.

  • it is true that there is only one way because i have looked on a lot of others videos which have the same exact solution so this is a scam. i also have been trying to find this solution for hours so i just looked on youtube.

  • on the box it says 14,177 solutions bet you cant find one

  • mine sas 9839

  • lol my housemate bought me this, and was amazed when i had finished it in 30 mins after she had tried it for a whole day.

needless to say, i used this guide, DANKE!

  • Yah my box says...9839 solutions.

    Bull shnap.

You are my hero for finding

    "1 of 9839" solutions :D

  • (bursts into song) "You put the red piece in, you take the red piece out...You put the red piece in, then you throw the puzzle out..."

    --The Stryker

  • epic

  • XD

    good one

  • Excellent work. Way beyond the call.

    Thanks.

  • Your my fucking hero!!!!

  • there are other ways to do it the 10,000 ways is not a scam

that one solution can actually be 24 solutions withouts moving a piece i no of 48 ways to solve this

  • Without moving a piece? You mean turning it to face different ways?

    That doesn't count, dude.

Besides, I've already admitted I was wrong about the 10,000 solution statement. Check out scottkurowski's post earlier in this thread. He's actually written a program to FIND ALL OF THE SOLUTIONS!

    --The Stryker

  • same way i solved mine lol

  • ALL HAIL TEH SOLVER OF THE HELL CUBE

  • now on the box it says there are over 9000 soultions.

im happy to have FOUND 1 (on youtube XD)

  • you know that this is impossible to do on the first try? but after you buy two of em, just open one and copy the other - takes some time but then will get gradually

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that music is stuck in my head

  • it's not that hard following it's actually pretty easy¥¢ÿ}ªÉÜôσΦΦΦσÜæ4ÜÜÜ

  • dang u really know how to sole that tetris cube!

  • oh hoooooooooooooo!!!!!!

  • People are still watching this?

Thanks, everyone; you are all very welcome.

    --The Stryker

  • Great animation, easy to follow; I did mine in about 30 seconds.

  • Perfect animation, thank you.

  • Damn.I had that thing sitting in a baggy for months.what a pain in the ass .Who would give this as a gift? Its more like a sick joke. Thanks a lot.

  • OMG!!!! Thankyou so much for this video! I thought I was going to go crazy! I've been struggling for ages trying to put it back together! I love your video!

  • Nice job of solving the puzzle, but what a horrible video. With all of the constant spinning and rotation, it's very hard to follow.

  • Thank you?

    --The Stryker

  • Google "Tetris Cube Solved All 9,839 solutions"

  • Dude. That's WAY more work than I put into the video. I commend you on your dedication. I'm going to download your catalogue of solutions and give a few of them a try myself. VERY impressed.

    --The Stryker

  • nice video man, like the animation.

  • Actually, I'm going to call bunk on the 9839 solutions thing myself. Strykers solution (thanks heaps for that by the way) is only 1 of 6 total ways that this solution can come about. The others can be reached by doing exactly the same thing except rotating 90 degrees in some direction. This must be true for every new solution!

    So, 9839 solutions / 6 faces = 1639.833?? Impossible!

I'm not saying that 9839 is too high (it could be higher for all I know), I'm just saying its wrong...

  • (Unless of course that there's actually 9839 x 6 = 59034 solutions - in which case, there goes my theory...) :P

  • One last thing.

Nice animation stryker! I don't think you could've conveyed the information in any better way. Top marks!

  • A scam about the 9000+ combinations? Maybe not... after all why? :D

  • da best

  • I've been trying to solve this puzzle since January and it turns out I'm missing a piece. :p

  • Should be easier to fit back in the box that way!

    --The Stryker

  • Wow!! Cool video and where do you get the song?

  • I think I converted it to a wave file from a midi I downloaded, then used Windows Movie Maker to combine it and my animation. I don't remember exactly.

    --The Stryker

  • Oh, thanks for the help anyways. Great video!

  • i have cheated using your video so many times, for a while my seven year old just thought i was god until i showed him this video on how to solve it

  • That's pretty funny! My wife and daughter spent a good 2 hours on it themselves, then I spent almost all night solving it myself. After they saw the completed cube, they didn't want to play with it any more!

    --The Stryker

  • hmm. I've checked out youtube videos on how to solve the tetris cube, and all the solved cubes are different than mine! Any ideas, or does anyone else have this problem?

  • Sure it's a "Tetris" cube? There is a Bedlam cube, also. There may be more.

    --The Stryker

  • Yeah, it's an Imagination Games Tetris cube. I've watched the solutions for the Bedlam cube as well, and it is different too. I can't seem to solve the thing, and I can't find help D8

  • If it helps anyone help me, I have the 4x4x4 Tetris cube, 13 pieces, red white and blue.

  • Mine's an Imagination cube as well. 4x4x4.

Maybe they made two versions? You are absolutely sure you don't have the pieces shown in my video?

    --The Stryker

  • yes, I'm sure. I do not have the second piece shown in your video. There are a few others, but the easiest difference is I don't have the red one that looks like 4 units straight, with one off the side (kind of looks like a t) Ever seen a different one?

    -The Wolf

  • I did notice that mine is called a "mini" cube. Maybe the normal sized cube has different shapes, but I've never seen any other Tetris cubes at all. Check e-bay and see if you can find someone selling one like yours, then post a link.

    --The Stryker

  • Believe it or not, I can't find a single picture of it online. It's a mini cube, red white and blue, but I can't find it anywhere. Nor can I solve it

  • This is great me and my coworkers have been trying to slove this for over a month.. you are a life saver. Thanks

  • My friend here at work and I spent a good 3 hours on it one day. Instead of working. I guess I'm pretty lucky I'm still here...

    --The Stryker

  • wow! i got the EXACT same solution, and i was looking online for other ones only to find this! what are the odds?

  • Apparently, according to the box, the odds are about 1 in 10,000. Like I said before, I think that is a load.

    --The Stryker

  • oh man you are my hero. this thing is so much harder than it looks!

  • Honestly, if I'd been able to find a solution on the net, I would have cheated myself. I couldn't find one, so I had to solve it. You guys are great, though. 15,796 views is about 15,790 more views than I thought I'd get!

lol to think you were surprised by that... now you have over 25,000 and almost 50 comments

  • And yet, I've only discovered the one solution, (and a 2-block flip variation) and it is the SAME solution that it is packaged with!

    --The Stryker

  • its funny cause its so amazingly hard yet there is 9839 different solutions

  • thanks, i needed this one

  • i bought the limited edition "big brother 3d cube" ages ago, and have been searching EVERYWHERE for a solution. this video has the exact same pieces... THANK CHRIST! now i can finally regain some of the countless hours of sleep i have wasted trying to figure it out.

  • I had NO IDEA this would be such a big thing to so many people!

    You're very welcome!

    --The Stryker

  • thank you thank you thank i've been going INSANE. now i can put it back in it's little plastic box and give it to some poor unsuspecting fool! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

  • thank you thank you thank i've been going INSANE. now i can put it back in it's little plastic box and give it to some poor unsuspecting fool! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

  • You're a lifesaver. I have this video bookmarked now.

  • Very helpful! Thanks!

  • i didn't realized that i had lost a piece until i saw this video. thanks for making it!

  • Oh thank god you posted this. I thought I'd never get this damn thing back together.

  • According to my friend, "the pieces fit in a way that is differnt to yours so theres about 6 other soultions to that 10000 that there is."

  • Honestly, if I'd been able to find a solution on the net, I would have cheated myself. I couldn't find one, so I had to solve it. You guys are great, though. 15,796 views is about 15,790 more views than I thought I'd get!

    --The Stryker

  • i'm goin with cheating for the win bob...i got to few hairs left to loose goin stir crazy over a cube

  • Ok, if you use this vid to solve the puzzle, isn't that cheating??? hehe nice vid!

  • WOOT I SOLVED THE TETRIS CUBE!!!! how'd u do it??

  • Persistence. Caffeine.

    --The Stryker

  • Well. I'm glad I'm not the only one who ran to my computer and youtubed the solution. Thanks a bunch.

  • Thank you! Now I can sleep tonight!

  • thanks for posting this, if i didn't solve it soon i would've gone crazy

  • I can't believe the number of people who have viewed my video!

Well, all of you are very welcome. I nearly lost my mind with this thing as well.

    --The Stryker

  • JESUS

    THIS THING PISSED ME OFF

    This video helped me out

this thing is way way harder than it looks

  • Thank you so much for this video my parents have been trying to do it for like 3 weeks and they couldn't. Now I can make fun of them :P

  • thank god... this just saved any sanity i had left :P

  • ohh..... NOW i get it... quite simple really... dnt know why i didn't see it before...

  • like it says on the box "DECEPTIVELY SIMPLE"

  • Whew, big sigh of relief. I have a daughter with a Type A personality, and this was nagging her. THANK YOU, CREATOR PERSON!!!! Life is smooth and calm again. Aaaaahhhh.

  • this little bastard has been messing with me and my son since christmas we've both been ready to throw it out the window so thank you for the cheat! lol!!

  • Not having seen the instructions myself, (or searched for any documentation on the web,) does this claim of 10,000 include rotations? Your solution would then represent 24 of those 10k combinations, 48 with thatguywithpi's response.

  • THANKS SOOOO MUCH... my cube finally fits in the box again... lol

  • Thank the great lord for this video. I nearly died trying to do it. Back to the Rubix Cude video now ;-P

  • thanks alot

  • you're all cheating bitches!!!

  • i'm missing a some parts

  • THANK YOU...my daughter got one for Christmas. She took it apart before I could get pix of it in it's "shell" "I'm not taking it apart again....today"

  • OH MY GOD.

thank you so much! i've spent about 3 hours trying to figure it out and now it fits back in the box :D!

  • I'm gonna tell all my friends that I saved someone's Christmas!

    --The Stryker

  • I got this for my family for Christmas and decided to play with it before I gave it to them...and never could figure it out. We're doing presents tomorrow, and I finally got it back in the box! You are a golden tetris god.

  • Yes! I can finally fit it back in the box now!

    Thanks.

  • Eeeeeverything is on "teh interweb"! thanks to diligent people like you! My kids and I were at our wits end with the "10,000 possible solutions bs they claimed on this one! TY

  • Apparently there is another cube out there like the Tetris cube called the "Soma" cube, except from what I've seen of it, the parts are more 2 dimentional, which I would think would make it easier to solve.

    --The Stryker
