Este anime es de lo mejor que han sacado ultimamente, de peque siempre vi saint seiya pero me quedo con Lost Canvas! estos dorados si son caballeros dignos, mis respetos para shiori T. que nos dio una magnifica trama (por algo Kurumuda la eligió) ...para la gente que tiene como 16 años o mas viendo SS y andan derramando hígado no se arraquen los pelos, hay para todos los gustos, mejor leanse el Next Dimension..
Los verdaderos fans de Saint seiya y The lost Canvas deberían apoyar ambos animes porque de uno depende el éxito del otro, así que si queremos más de ambos animes, que al final tienen el mismo fondo, y aunque nos guste uno más que el otro A APOYAR EN VEZ DE CRITICAR PARA QUE SIGAN PRODUCIÉNDOLOS

los caballeros de konoha se llama esta mierda? para mis los caballeros del zodiaco murieron en la saga de asgard y los 13 capitulos de hades, por que la saga de poseido y el resto de lo que hicieron con hades fueron una basofia... y que decir de esto..

@brydar2109 es el estilo de dibujo de moda... osea todos feos xD naa solo tratan de resaltar mas los gestos y expresiones humanas como en bleach es un estilo de dibujo que trata de ser de alguna manera mas realista pero claro el original de shingo araki pertenece a la epoca dorada del anime donde estaba de moda que los protagonistas debian ser totalmente bellos y esculturales.. 2 estilos que se alinean a distintas generaciones aunque hay para todos los gustos..
lo unico que me gusta de LC son las batallas... estan increibles me gustan, pero la musica, y el diseño de personajes aun no me gustan, la animacion es muy buena pero no puede gustarme esas caras son horribles D:

I like Lost Canvas too, but from volume 3 to volume 12-13 (with Degel). After that I don't really like Lost canvas, but it seems better with Deuteros and Aspros now.
About Lost canvas OAV, you can like the soundtrack, it's your opinion; but I really hate the soundtrack, it kills the show. OAV 5-6 should be better than this with a good soundtrack!
Well guys, we need to agree with one thing. The Lost Canvas will show to us the true power of Gold no Saints. Why i say that ? Because the normal anime show the Gold no Saints a true joking, weaks and nothing like manga. Now, it's time to see the Gold no Saints in action.
I don't agree with you, OK we saw the power of Gold Saints in Lost Canvas, but we can see it too in Kurumada manga. We can see Gold saints in action in Hades sanctuary arc for example with Aries Mu!
I prefer Saint Seiya anime because there are a lot of emotion moments, I cry so much when I watch Camus VS Hyoga, Shura vs Shiryu, Sacrifice of Shiryu's eyes, Asgard battle, Hades sanctuary arc.
In Lost Canvas I never cry, well perhaps it will be the case with these OAV. But the music is so bad... Seiji Yokohama's soundtrack is very strong...
You're comparing a 130-episode anime with 4 OVAS hmmm ok.
And you're talking as if every single episode of classic Saint Seiya is emotional, which is not true. The only true emotional episode (and they were very few) happened after the 50th episode - loooooooooooooong wait.
If I compare these 4 OVA's of LC with the first 4 episode of classic Saint Seiya, the choice is beyond obvious plot-wise, character-wise and design-wise.
You don't read my post, I said perhaps it will be the case with these OAV because anime is different from manga with music and seiyuu.
And no I don't say every episodes of Saint Seiya is emotional and it's not happened after episode 50. It happen in episodes 4-5 with Seiya vs Shiryu. I cry here.
I personally ADORED these OVA's -OVA 5 had a few problems here and there, but OVA 6 was flawless - the part when Albafica came back and whispers "I can still fght" is one of the 3 big moments of LC.
I don't mind the soundtrack - personally I thought they chose the best tracks for Minos' and Albafica's deaths. Not over-dramatic like in the classic, but they fit with the situation. "Sainto no Shi" fit like a glove when Minos found the rose in his chest.
Something I loved and I'm sure you didn't, it's the fact they used the silence in key moments of the drama - you don't have to have a "in-your-face" overdramatic song to make a situation touching.
When Shion took Albafica in his arms through the village, you didn't need a song there, the silence, the birds, the bells, very touching.
No I like silence like there is in Cowboy Bebop when Spike did the "BANG", it's really good, but there is a song after.
Silence can be good. But here in Lost Canvas, it's just boring for me. And there are animes where the music doesn't touch but a silence can, it depend.
To me OVa5 and 6 were a big letdown......idk i expected more,they barelly moved in the entire fight...the manga was more epic maybe....Now the only fight im looking foward too is Thanatos vs Manigoldo and Pope..
Yeah Thanatos VS Manigoldo/Pope should be epic, but I'm not sure it will be good... Well OAV 5-6 disappointed me "so much", and they should be my favourite OAV but it's not the case. Like I said, music, cloth, attack (stardust revolution is ugly o_O)...

Well I agree with you, Tenma and Alone are boring, I don't like them. But Teshirogi, like Kurumada with Seiya, loves their hero... It's always when Tenma isn't here that Lost Canvas is better in my opinion! Last chapters are very good! I don't want a "come back in Lost Canvas with Tenma".

Well it depend if you speak about the anime or the manga.
Kurumada' manga is ugly ;D, but the anime is awesome: emotion, incredible soundtrack, awesome fight, and Asgard arc (but Poseidon is boring and Hades Mekai is ugly).
I prefer characters from Saint Seiya Original like Shion, Mu, Saga, Kanon, Shaka, Camus; but Lost Canvas have good characters too.
Kurumada's manga is REALLY Ugly and i feel sometimes that the plot goes nowhere.And its the same thing over and over again.The anime is good!but the only good characters were the Gold Saints in fact they were brought back 2 times!
Lost canvas is much better and the story isnt the same Rescue Athena stuff.
But let me tell you, the manga is mediocre yes, but the anime is FAR WORST. It's amazing how Toei took an already bad plot and made it even worst!
As you said, the plot goes absolutely nowhere, the formula is repeated in pratically almost ever arc and the fights are simply generic, there's no strategy - just burn your cosmo and an attack doesn't work twice against a Saint LOL
I actually consider it one of the most boring animes ever, saved only by Sanctuary arc.
Oh and don't let me talk about the fillers in the anime XD Jesus, those episodes were painful to watch and they made unecessary changes that made some characters worst - in the special case of Hyoga
Gold Saints pretty much made the anime what it is today,Poseidon saga was ok,filler was meh, Sanctuary Hades was AMAZING,inferno was horrible,Elysium was a dissapointement.
Lost canvas is a lot more different,try to fuck this up Kurumada!
I agree that Sanctuary Hades is amazing, but the beginning of the anime is un-watchable for me. Toei changed too many things.
Lost Canvas has a more direct plotline and the events naturally evolve. Funny thing is that Kurumada is doing the exact same thing in terms of plotline in Next Dimension - the conversations between the Gold saints are priceless, it seems like you're reading a kid's book XD but it's a matter of taste I guess.

Este anime es de lo mejor que han sacado ultimamente, de peque siempre vi saint seiya pero me quedo con Lost Canvas! estos dorados si son caballeros dignos, mis respetos para shiori T. que nos dio una magnifica trama (por algo Kurumuda la eligió) ...para la gente que tiene como 16 años o mas viendo SS y andan derramando hígado no se arraquen los pelos, hay para todos los gustos, mejor leanse el Next Dimension..

@brydar2109 es el estilo de dibujo de moda... osea todos feos xD naa solo tratan de resaltar mas los gestos y expresiones humanas como en bleach es un estilo de dibujo que trata de ser de alguna manera mas realista pero claro el original de shingo araki pertenece a la epoca dorada del anime donde estaba de moda que los protagonistas debian ser totalmente bellos y esculturales.. 2 estilos que se alinean a distintas generaciones aunque hay para todos los gustos..

I like Lost Canvas too, but from volume 3 to volume 12-13 (with Degel). After that I don't really like Lost canvas, but it seems better with Deuteros and Aspros now.
About Lost canvas OAV, you can like the soundtrack, it's your opinion; but I really hate the soundtrack, it kills the show. OAV 5-6 should be better than this with a good soundtrack!

I prefer Saint Seiya anime because there are a lot of emotion moments, I cry so much when I watch Camus VS Hyoga, Shura vs Shiryu, Sacrifice of Shiryu's eyes, Asgard battle, Hades sanctuary arc.
In Lost Canvas I never cry, well perhaps it will be the case with these OAV. But the music is so bad... Seiji Yokohama's soundtrack is very strong...
I need emotion to really love an anime.

You're comparing a 130-episode anime with 4 OVAS hmmm ok.
And you're talking as if every single episode of classic Saint Seiya is emotional, which is not true. The only true emotional episode (and they were very few) happened after the 50th episode - loooooooooooooong wait.
If I compare these 4 OVA's of LC with the first 4 episode of classic Saint Seiya, the choice is beyond obvious plot-wise, character-wise and design-wise.
Keep basing an anime in its soundtrack ONLY :P

I personally ADORED these OVA's -OVA 5 had a few problems here and there, but OVA 6 was flawless - the part when Albafica came back and whispers "I can still fght" is one of the 3 big moments of LC.
I don't mind the soundtrack - personally I thought they chose the best tracks for Minos' and Albafica's deaths. Not over-dramatic like in the classic, but they fit with the situation. "Sainto no Shi" fit like a glove when Minos found the rose in his chest.

Something I loved and I'm sure you didn't, it's the fact they used the silence in key moments of the drama - you don't have to have a "in-your-face" overdramatic song to make a situation touching.
When Shion took Albafica in his arms through the village, you didn't need a song there, the silence, the birds, the bells, very touching.

Yeah Thanatos VS Manigoldo/Pope should be epic, but I'm not sure it will be good... Well OAV 5-6 disappointed me "so much", and they should be my favourite OAV but it's not the case. Like I said, music, cloth, attack (stardust revolution is ugly o_O)...

Well I agree with you, Tenma and Alone are boring, I don't like them. But Teshirogi, like Kurumada with Seiya, loves their hero... It's always when Tenma isn't here that Lost Canvas is better in my opinion! Last chapters are very good! I don't want a "come back in Lost Canvas with Tenma".

Sasha cannot do anything now because she lost her power, HOWEVER, she did lots of things through the story that made her pro-active:
- she created a barrier to stop specters to reborn and made Albafica's death not useless;
- she borrowed her power to Sisyphus' arrow in order to kill permantely the Dream Gods;
- she was the one that thought of the plan to use the oricacle to get to Lost Canvas.
And many, many more things...
What did Saori do? NOTHING.

If Taizen is an official source, then Kurumada's classic Saint Seiya and Next Dimension are full of plot holes - you pretty much choose the sources that are more convenient for you, don't you? ;)
As far as I'm concerned, Shion did absolutely nothing memorable in the classic, his best moment was when he was stupidly killed by Saga. Lost Canvas' Shion explains so well why classic Shion is so dumb MUAHAHAHA

Sasha made decisions for herself that had huge importance in the war: she created the barrier, she was the one that saved Sisyphus, she was the one that thought of an idea to get in Lost Canvas, she was the one who killed the Dream Gods, she was the one who made the flower chain to protect Tenma - yes, she didn't do so much, she should have been caught like 1000 times and then whispers the name of Seiya over and over again of course...

Saori made decisions for herself too, if she didn't help her saint, everyone would be dead already, Asgard would not exist anymore, the earth would be devasted by the tidal wave. She go to fight Hades. At the final of Sanctuary arc, Saori allow hyoga to come back with her cosmo for example.
So yeah Sasha didn't do so much, and like I said, it's not 1000 times. Seiya over and over? No, she speaks with Kanon, she tried to speak with Saga, with Poseidon, Hades.

- She made a flower chain that pratically saved Tenma and allowed him to survive at Meikai and catch the fruits of the Death Tree that would decide the fate of the Holy War;
- She is a leader, capable of controling her troops, as we see her giving orders to Shion and Dohko to defend the Sanctuary - no-one needs to do that for her;
- She decided for herself to create the barrier so that Minos' troup couldn't be reborn by Hades' power;

Yeah Saori is brave, that's why she did something. I don't say, Saori defended her troops, I said she protected her troops. For example you can see that when Seiya and other fight against Gold Saints or other ennemies, she's there to help them when they are going to lose.
She gaves orders? Well, when she said to Gold saints that Bronze saints mustn't participate to Hades Sanctuary fight for example.

Well it depend if you speak about the anime or the manga.
Kurumada' manga is ugly ;D, but the anime is awesome: emotion, incredible soundtrack, awesome fight, and Asgard arc (but Poseidon is boring and Hades Mekai is ugly).
I prefer characters from Saint Seiya Original like Shion, Mu, Saga, Kanon, Shaka, Camus; but Lost Canvas have good characters too.

Kurumada's manga is REALLY Ugly and i feel sometimes that the plot goes nowhere.And its the same thing over and over again.The anime is good!but the only good characters were the Gold Saints in fact they were brought back 2 times!
Lost canvas is much better and the story isnt the same Rescue Athena stuff.

But let me tell you, the manga is mediocre yes, but the anime is FAR WORST. It's amazing how Toei took an already bad plot and made it even worst!
As you said, the plot goes absolutely nowhere, the formula is repeated in pratically almost ever arc and the fights are simply generic, there's no strategy - just burn your cosmo and an attack doesn't work twice against a Saint LOL
I actually consider it one of the most boring animes ever, saved only by Sanctuary arc.

Gold Saints pretty much made the anime what it is today,Poseidon saga was ok,filler was meh, Sanctuary Hades was AMAZING,inferno was horrible,Elysium was a dissapointement.
Lost canvas is a lot more different,try to fuck this up Kurumada!

I agree that Sanctuary Hades is amazing, but the beginning of the anime is un-watchable for me. Toei changed too many things.
Lost Canvas has a more direct plotline and the events naturally evolve. Funny thing is that Kurumada is doing the exact same thing in terms of plotline in Next Dimension - the conversations between the Gold saints are priceless, it seems like you're reading a kid's book XD but it's a matter of taste I guess.
