viscosity needs to be lower, more particles, and dont use a 3D texture on the liquid. You can see the texture stays in the same place as you move the liquid. You should have no real texture on the liquid. just color, reflections, and refractions. I guarantee it will look better after these changes.

Either a scale issue or viscosity. But most realflow results I've seen tend to look too thick.

umm,im not a 3ds user,BUT,in my oppinion, looks like the water has bump-mapping,and the water shouldn't be blue,that's why u say it looks like gel.Try to make it incolour and transparent and make it a very smooth liquid. ;)

This is actually one of the best "flow" animations I've seen. The speed is good, the particles are pretty small, & move right. Only thing that is "off" is the color really. Would make for a great Listorine add though. Haha.

No, this is a completely different program that simulates liquid and stuff. You import and render in Max. :)
