You guys are just a bunch of die hard who fear change. Dean is a great addition- a VERY slightly different style and tone, but it's still LOW LOW LOW. Deans stays in the mix more, which is fine. He's also a far better singer- Listen to recent live shows, Pete's voice is going. Dean even sings lead on the higher notes.

Yea, I've wondered if Pete's voice has been going out a bit here and there. The only thing I don't prefer is how Dean always takes a lower harmony and Pete takes a higher line - it really changes the melody up. It's not necessarily a bad thing, just really different. The bass difference is almost purely in the gear IMO - a Bongo and a Tbird are gonna sound really different anyway, and Dean uses different sounding overdrive as well which could just be a diff amp head
