  • If you claim to like Metal Machine Music it's safe to say you're an annoying prick.

  • still better then the new Metallica album

  • Better than the original....

  • wow at the start this really sound like glazin by black dice

  • metal machine music IS music, to me anyway. And this remix is ACE! I love it. I love the glitchy sound at the beginning and the noizes and beats bunched up together nicely. I can dance to this. and guess what, I am taking this song to my car. thanks. ;-)

  • @noizedemon, I just got the audio of this video and it is in my car now. I can't wait to blast this while driving. I have to edit out the last bit of silence though. it is all good. it only took a little bit of editing. no big deal. yay!!!

  • Ugh... it takes beautiful noise and turns it into noise. Then the more I listen to it the more I like it. :)

  • No face. IED

  • Crap cop out. Distortion for the well fed young generation. Proof that they haven't the stomach for the real thing. Generations get weaker as time moves on.........

  • @tanpiltanpil Youre probably right>>>just look at what they eat ( their minds consume )

  • metal machine music is not music....

  • this album would be more interesting to 'cover' or reproduce using your own styles of guitar feedback and effects. to me it is one of the most inspirational records i have ever heard. and while this is kinda cool, its not very good in my opinion and i really prefer the original. the whole point of this music is to not have a beat and i feel like it ruins it in a way... but thats just me.

  • is the dance floor mix for the club foot?

  • is this club mix for the dance floor?

  • This is actually pretty sick. I'm not really into industrial electronic music but I really enjoyed this nonetheless

  • Nice bit of work, you got here......

I could seriously see this on an album. Actually it would make an interesting album to have different artists remix Metal Machine Music....could you imagine what Aphex Twin might do with something like this? Oooh....I wish I was a record producer! LOL!

Anyway.....I like what you did....kinda reminds me of......something....I cant quite put my finger on it......But It Reminds Me A Lot Like Older Industrial music though for sure

  • very Metal Urbain-ish.

  • Love it. Great job man. Awesome unique perspective on an already unique work of art. Lou Reed would be proud as I believe this is the kind of thing that keeps with the spirit of the original record itself. Fuck you, Dorukc... how can you say this is bad and in the same breath preach a bunch of nonsense about "music with no limits"? If you truly appreciate music "without limits" then you must embrace, or at the very least acknowledge or respect, this guys remix for the piece of art that it is.

  • this remix is interesting

  • I once used this for me dance choreography about machinery aha XD

  • This is fucking awesome!!!!

  • Sounds WAY BETTER than the original!!!

  • damn sounds like black dice. great mix

  • Well, now it sucks more, Just in a Trent Reznor kinda way.

  • Nicely done. Adds a new dimension to a golden oldie.

  • ill

  • Nice

  • inspiring and motivating !

  • I'm 100% serious when I say I don't like this remix very much and that I prefer the original by far.

  • Well done for making this listenable.

  • it was listenable before, but the original ended with bleeding eardrums.

This one is more "user friendly"

  • GREAT!

  • Don't fuck with this album

Try & do the same to some noise songs by Controlled Bleeding, which are far more brutal than this album (Which I like quite a bit)

  • i like the original and i like this too, well done young man!.Peter,London

  • Lovely remix of a wonderfull album.

Just because it's noise, doesn't mean that people can't have fun with it.

  • best thing about the album was the liner notes. maybe Lou should reissue it using this remix--"hey kids, let's all do the Metal Machine dance!"

  • simply sick!

  • The record was made as a sort of fuck you towards RCA. The record was made as a joke.

    Good remix, though.

  • actually reed has said he was totally serious when he started making this album. it still was sort of a "fuck you" towards RCA though.

  • In a late interview in soundonound he denies that it was any sort of "F" to this company. He said he didn´t bother with correcting the myths that followed with the release. He consulted the company before releasing it and he got support for it.

  • Hey dork, get over yourself. this rawks

  • Lol you idiot. He was totally baked and pissing around with a guitar.

  • Hi I'm dorukc and I'm pretentious as fuck.

  • I just got off the phone with Lou Reed, he thinks this remix is cool and dorukc is a moron who hasn't made any music and only knows how to be pretentious.

  • @dorukc

Wow, talk about the pot calling the kettle stupid. Reed created an album that was most certainly successful as boundless noise, but unfortunately not a great record. Being unconventional in a world of convention does not necessarily result in an artistic triumph. What the creator of this remix did was use their own modern (albeit more traditional) musical skills to salvage Reed's work and make it more palatable for the masses, perhaps even Lou Reed himself.

  • I don't know about Lou, but I dig it. Pretty sure the percussion aren't samples from the album, though....

  • lou would dig this I think! how about you?

  • the person who did the remix is an artist

  • the person who did the remix is an artist

  • This is great! I actually started tapping my feet at one point.

  • Wow that is prtty well done, the original it's like something that you wanna love but can't listen to it, but this is great.

  • Great Remix :)

  • Excellent.

  • This awesome. I love listening to the original but this remix is tops. Nice job. METAL MACHINE MUSIC FOREVER!!!!

  • sounds like nine inch nails

  • Yah, indeed, it has some quake-style hasn't it?

  • haha thats good

  • That were cool

  • brilliant

  • WHAT? WHAT?

No, I'm not doing Lil' Jon. I think I damaged my hearing from listening to the original version of MMM.

  • I can see where Drum & Bass (Dumb & Base?) got started.

  • Wow, that's really cool, actually!

  • that is pretty sick, :D

  • Fekin' AAA

  • Upon listening to this again, I realized that I really want an audio file...

  • Amen Break sampling is for posers.

  • therefore every Jungle producer who created absolute art out of the amen (dillinja, photek, etc.) is a poser. the amen will never die, don't be jealous.

  • uh, this was posted to an earlier criticism of the song. just to be clear, i think the song is very good.

  • Actually it's not too bad. But why mess with a classic? Kids these days, what are ya' gonna do with them. Maybe lock them in a room and have them listen to SIDE FOUR!!!

  • Damn good. Actually captured the album's spirit (whatever that is).

  • Taste is subjective!

  • Man, I gotta say, this is pretty fucking cool. Best use of sampling I've heard in a long time, and certainly one of the best I've ever come across on You Tube. Props, for real.

  • Someone really needs to rap over this...

  • noooooooooo

  • Wow you made one of the worse albums of all time (Sorry LOu Reed love ya but I got to say it) actually sound good
