Neither Kreuz kid's one is as good as the original before they had the bitch fight. Shame to split up the good pits from the good brisket man. I'd rather go to Franklin in Austin, Rocky Creek outside of Bee Caves, Miss Mae's in Wimberley, or Cooper's in Mason. What happened when they had the bitch fight and went their own ways is people like me don't much bother with Lockhart anymore unless we're there anyway.

Actually Smitty's should be the winner, how can last voter chose the Kreuz better sausage taste to win over Smitty better brisket taste. Does that mean in BBQ sausage is the more important than Beef meat? Smitty's grandson actually can called off the contest since the Kreuz super fan change A to B after knowing A is for Smitty.  Is cheating for Kreuz super fan, how can you not know to choose either A or B that taste better.

@sih1688 I agree with you with it. When it comes to Texas Barbecue, I always considered the brisket to be the main event, the sausage is still important, but more of a side, like the avocado, cheddar and white bread.
