98 is MASSIVELY diadvantaged by time and still has:

Awesome "Welcome Centre" music

Very elaborate themes/screen savers

Excellent "Windows 98" Startup/shutdown screen and sound

Much better compatability backwards

over Vista. Apart from the more universal colour scheme, Vista is bland in screens & sounds, poor compatability even with some XP apps and has very little to customise on the desktop, compared to 98.
