  • how easy would you say this is in comparison to a 360?

  • @theFuturetrojan there's alot less technical skill behind this than a 360, you'll land this 2nd or 3rd try if you get past the initial fear of trying it

    ^^^^^^^

my first try! got them the next one:)

  • If only we had some snow to practice on this year xD

  • Shared this w/my little bro, nice tutorial.

  • I broke my board front flipping to much....lol

  • is it easy to do one?

  • SIDEFLIP NOT FRONTFLIP ..

  • @BlizzYam If this is a sideflip then tell me what's a frontflip! lol

  • @BlizzYam

    confirm

  • "It helps if you have a backyard"...

  • Your hat falling from your hat is a MUST, e?

    nice totorial :D

do you tried frotflip on a jump in any snowpark.. because there you gom more air and everything.. things are different :D

  • awesome! thank you!!!

  • Hey this may be a stupid question, but is it possible to do these on all mountain boards?

  • @iLike2Bike97 You can do it on any board if you have skill. I learned a few years ago on a 2005 Nitro Atlas (all mountain board with VERY stiff flex and a narrow stance) 160cm. It's not what I'm riding today obviously and it's a bit easier to do it on a short park board, but yea. Don't get too caught up with the technology and worry about things too much. Just go for it

  • I actually really like this tutorial. Its really honest, contains just enough info to give you the encouragement to give it a go. Good job man!!

  • okay but whats it called when u do a frontflip on a trampoline on a snowboard?

  • im definitly gonna try to front flip till i get it this season now! great tutorial cuz nobody else actually says to bounce off the nose which i know i wouldnt have done

  • that was fresh to death

  • I have seen people do frontflips were they put there head as close as they can to the nose instead of there shoulder what one is easier??

  • How long did it take you to learn how to do this? (attempts)

  • @brockjohnson11 Doesn't matter how long it took him. For some it takes a few days, others it takes a few seasons to get it mastered. Point is it'll be different for you if you try it. It took me a session of about an hour or 2 to get the rotation down then another hour or so the next day to stomp my first one. I think I would have landed one the first day if the landing weren't so soft though. Just commit and you'll be fine. Worst injury I've had from underflipping/falling was a bruised hip.

  • Thanks, this really helped a lot!! I have one of those trampoline snowboard things and it's good to practice the frontflip with! Great vid! :)

  • hella sick!!!!!

  • how big should the jump be if you make one in your backyard?

  • What board?

  • nice video dude

  • its winter screw trampolines( i got one) but why use them snow is all you need to soften your landing :P and the you can try sideflips on ground

really nice tutorial helped alot :))

  • ha so pretty much itd be kinda like gettin you nose dug in to the snoqw by accident and flipping?

  • @skatersomeone4 exactly but you just press really hard. It doesn't actually go in the snow

  • @pengod512 does it help to have a soft board?

  • i think ill try it this year on a powdery day

    its always super icy

  • nice

  • how possible is it to break the tail ?

  • Lol thanks for the tips

  • i cracked mine but that was on a icy day!

  • whooor pow thats very discreptive

  • really nice video man! great job!

  • good job on this tutorial - ive been dying to try a front and a back flip this season coming up. u def explained how to front flip clearly - makes sense :) thanks man!

  • this trick is all about commitment and head placement, if you just do a little tail press before then throw your body forward and tuck your ear straight into your shoulder. my first time doing it like 3 seasons ago i landed it after my second try, its great to do off up rails and up boxes

  • awesome tutorial bro. i've attempted this trick a few times. never landed it, but after watching this i'm amped to stick it this year. :)

  • YOUR HAT, GODAMNIT!

  • pretty sick dude! makes me wanna try it , can you do a backflip?

  • @braidy003 almost I didn't have enough speed i hit my board on the jump

  • cool

  • i liked this tut =)

  • @sunshinevancouver

    thanks
