Actually, after C.S. Lewis finished the series he said that it was better if readers read the Magician's Nephew first, but the director decided that the movies would fit together better if The Magician's Nephew and the Horseand his Boy were left out, since they did not contain the main characters.

I remember seeing this trailer when I went to see Revenge Of The Sith. It wasn't until she found wardrobe in the room by itself that I figured out what movie it was. As a kid I had only seen the animated version, though, never read the book.
