I read the book. There's no mention of where Chigur comes from. It was a guess on my part, due to Javier Bardeem's accent. It's an interesting possibility if someone ever does a prequel, though..
Hm. This part always made me think that Anton Chigur was ex-military. Maybe a Latin American special forces guy? One of the Central or South American dictatorships we were propping up back then. Someone the CIA trained at Camp of the Americas. In any case, he knows how to treat a gunshot wound in the field..
Well, in some reviews that I've read from various websites say a little about Chigurgh. Some of these reviews say that Chigurgh use be in Spec Ops. Now it was never revealed in the movie, so it must have been revealed in the book. I've never read the book, so I'm not sure where they're getting this info. By the way, I'm not sure which country he was a spec ops for.
Nice to see that the cowboy managed to shoot this asshole in the leg at least. And what's with this guy's haircut? Looks like it came right out of the Mod Squad from back in the Seventies.
I love the way he heals himself i wonder if that really works if u had all thoes items ???

This movie is set in 1980. Not in the seventies. Read the book.
