Flea and Anthony have been in the band forever I'm pretty certain. Chad's been in for a very long time, but they had a few drummers before him. Their original guitarist Hillel Slovak did die from heroine, and John started with them when they started up again.

lol that was like in '94 and the band has been on break since '08 so that they could rest. Flea is attending UCLA, John is promoting his new solo album The Empyrean, Anthony is using this time to be staying at home with his baby boy, and Chad is touring with the riff rock band Chickenfoot.
