@Superstrat1990 I do not understand this comment. The Australian 'culture' is actually based entirely on European ideas and values due to the multiculturalism. The country was built by the influx of immigrants, paid by the government at the time, to come here. A lot of immigrants came on planes, or were born here and are perceived as immigrants, while your ancestors would have been 'boat people' who came and 'destroyed the culture and values' of indigenous inhabitants.
Dear Australian Govt. there is no skilled jobs shortage, stop allowing in truckloads of people to compete for jobs that are already hard to come by, and burdening the population with more and more people making what was once a great place to call home, an overcrowded, expensive place to live.
As far as the REAL Aussies, they are the one's who can pull out a family tree and show some kind of heritage back to the UK, those who developed and fought for this country.

It has been proved without any doubt the whole mess is a media construct, and the increase in assaults corresponded with an increase in migrants/students, and the numbers were no higher than anyone could expect working late nights and being alone in the dark in poor areas.
As an ad for a migration service, you should also know the protesters were mainly concerned with deportation for having falsified records.
