@trien30 Please show me where in the video I made such a claim, Christianity did not exist until over two thousand years after the language came into being.
This is a crock of crap. You can literally use any material to find whatever "truth" you want to see in it. The Bible was a man made book written by men, not some book beamed down from above. The Chinese language (written and spoken) far exceeds the age of the Bible as opposed to the other way around.
@lazbo4174 Of course you would. You insist on seeing whatever you want and you will find whatever you wish to support your views. Take your head out of the sand and stop letting organized religion control your thoughts. Use your brain to think critically. If you're going to argue that the Chinese language did not precede the Bible, then you're making facts up. If you think that the Bible weren't written by men, then you're also factually deluding yourself.
@lightspeedv Because I disagree with you that does not automatically qualify your statement "You insist on seeing whatever you want and you will find whatever you wish to support your views" Please take note of the question mark in the video title. I am suggesting that the those who formulated ancient Chinese text had a knowledge of a portion of the book of Genesis. I did not look at the text with any pre-conceived ideas, someone made me aware of the possibility and I checked it out...
@lightspeedv CONT... the 3 videos I have posted are my attempt to share my findings, all are of course free to disagree. I follow the teachings found in the Bible as I gain an understanding of them, I have certainly not allowed any "organized religion control my thoughts" The Chinese language does precede the writing of the Bible, as the stories and traditions found therein were passed down orally, besides certain manuscripts, until the time of Moses....
@lightspeedv CONT... The events described in the first 11 chapters of Genesis do precede the formulation of the language. I have know doubt you will disagree,so maybe it would be best to agree to disagree on that point. I agree that men did write the Bible, the Bible itself says as much. But these men were inspired by God.
@lazbo4174 I've long been interested in this subject, being of Chinese heritage. I've also long come across the comments you've had to deal with. You've handled it well. These people think they know more than they actually do. They operate on presumptions, on what they think they know about us and what we believe (such as that the Bible was 'beamed' from the sky and accusations of being 'mind controlled'). I applaud you and encourage you. Thanks!
It is now a new strategy by Christians to use ancient chinese culture, which include its written script, ancient beliefs to try to convert unsuspecting chinese to Christianity..
@SirianKings Obviously you don't know how to read Chinese. If you break them apart, they mean woods and woman on it's own. And if you break the woods apart, it means wood.
I am a Chinese Christian, this is true and fact that many Chinese characters have hidden meaning of Bible. There is an ancient Chinese saying that: "After Zhong-jae invented the Chinese characters, devils cry. " For thousands of years, nobody understood why the invention of Chinese characters got to do with "devil cry"? After western missionaries came to China, preaching the gospel, some missionaries and Chinese Christians started to know the hidden meaning of the old saying.
It is also interesting to note that the Chinese character for boat is also three symbols. The first symbol is actually the symbol for the number 8. The second symbol means either "mouth or vessel. The third symbol means vessel. Eight person vessel? Sound familiar? Noah's flood occurred around 2350 BC. This word for boat, (eight person vessel) appears on the scene in 2200 BC. There were 8 people on the ark. Coincidence?
hi there, i think this video gives an interesting perspective into biblical records and how chinese characters may have been formed. While we can't say for sure if the chinese characters were reflections on biblical accounts per say based on this alone, it is interesting still to see the possibility of biblical influence in the chinese characters origins.. could there have been chinese folklore that portrays a similar episode like Eve in the Bible? ..worth pondering..
Lame. If the Christian god were true, he'd of dropped the bible on every culture, rather than one in that mess of the middle east. Over 2000 years later and its still not translated into every language. So much for the power of god.
yeah. the Chinese language is so complex it's really stretching it and unnecessary to try and make some connection between Chinese letters and Genesis.
the lack of a bible is not the reason for any mess. the lack of true compassion is. people have an understanding of right and wrong wherever they have been or are in the world. morality transcends language.
@RationalJunkie But the Bible is the best selling book in the whole wide world (this is evident!), there are revival not just nation-wide but world-wide!
genesis chapter 4 made me an atheist it went way of the page people getting married when eve was the only woman on earth cain being marked so all other who see him can kill him when the only people there are his parents who knew he did it then he was sent to nod and knew his wife again the only woman was eve it's a mess
I hope that you decide to continue this series. It's of great interest to me as a student of Chinese and God's Word. My favorite is the character for "ship" which has radicals for "vessel," "eight," and "mouth," seeming to allude to a vessel for eight people.
it makes the most sense HA! darwinists really do "believe" in evolution and the "time god did it" theory how logical is it to believe life arose from non life. or to put it in laymens terms your grandfather (great, great, great, great etc...) was a rock yeah soooooooo logical. could explain prez bush... then again bush does have a degree from "Yale"....
Miller experiment failed because first it did not include oxygen in it's experiment which is needed for life and would have to have been present according to darwinism due to there being water and atmosphere to support life and second the few acids they did produce were deadly to living things.
if you have nothing productive to say please do not say it.
congrats to lazbo4174, a bright thinking progressive adventist. I applaud you and i want to have the courage to talk about my adventist beliefs as well.
I been thinking about this for a while. This video sat words to my thoughts. Just started to read the bible from the begining and hopefully will reach the end :).
All 3 of your videos were well made, thanks. They made me think and ponder.I truly believe that there is a connection between all ancient peoples.Pyramids are one example. There are so many more. There has to be some bond and someday we might find the connection.Evolution is the way of plants and animals forming and become better adapted.TOO MUCH PROOF supporting evolution. But why can't the system have been created by God?Only HE could devise a way for all flora and fauna to be intertwined.~~Peace~~
coachgreywolf... thanks for the compliments, am glad to here that you appreciated the videos. am happy to hear that the videos made you think and ponder, peace to you my friend
"do you know what the theory of Abiogenesis even says?" ... The truth does not change but stands on it's own. You used two words here which should sound the bells for any one listening with understanding. THEORY ABIOGENESIS... Renaming the evolution theory every decade does not add to it's "credibility". To me it is spinning a more intrinsical web to catch naive people like yourself to believe you do not have to account for possible wrong doings. Evolution is a LIE.
It is not oversimplification, I call it the bottomline. When scientist with the darwinian agenda cook up a story where YAH The Most High and Creator of Heaven and Earth is kept out of the equation it is save to assume these "scientists" believe that we, all living, came into excistance out of a cell that sprang from a rockblast in outerspace. The theories they have spon arround this monstrocity of a lie is to assume credibility. Simple!

you should try explaining with the old Oracle Bone Script or the Bird and Worm Script,
those were closer to their original forms, and more related to spirituality.
Also, isn't it better to refer to the Chinese legends first ?
