Second, now it is on xbox 360.

Third, Notch never thought minecraft would become so successful and first only wanted it to make "enough money to make another game".

I think it's a smart idea. If anyone can improve on any game, I encourage it.

I am an AVID Minecraft fan - I love it, and I love the fact that it's so moddable.

But man, with FortressCraft, I can see a lot of really interesting things going on with that too. It's very probably going to be better than the 360 version of Minecraft, because Minecraft is made FOR PC. I'm glad someone made it better for the consoles.

Notch wouldn't be able to put Minecraft on the consoles to start because it's a work in progress, and every time you need to do a title update through Microsoft it costs the developer $10,000. Another example of big business interfering with gaming.
