I have a 2010 TRV 550 with only 4,643 km`s blow 2 engines, first one the the Rod Bearing was defective (solds lots of them and NO RECALL I was told 4 others came in like mine at the dealer) second engine seized up and Oil was changed on time and it was OK.
One thing I have to say about I`ll NEVER EVER BUY OR OWN ANOTHER ARTIC CAT sure good on the trail but as workmanship in the Engine its TOTAL ARTIC SCRAP ... NO BULL
i've tried this move on a brute and it takes lots of time and really loud cuss wurds......hehe. I believe it would damage the belt doing it this way? has anyone had any experience with this?
Hi! I need some help. I was riding my ATV when it started to make a strange noise and after a few houndred meters and 2 engine restarts it was no longer moving when in gear(it is automatic). I figured out the sound was coming from the belt so I opened the ATV up so I could see the belt. Behind the round thing on the right, IDK wat is it called in english, there is some sort of a disk that is no longer fixed,(you can move it with your hands). I think that disk is the problem. What do you think?
@krltgop because when drive about 80km/h that belt turns at probly 5000-8000rpms and if she blows, you can fuck alot of stuff cause the belt has nylon strings in it and that gets mixed in your clutches and stuff
@krltgop the belt is only ment to spin in one direction due to the way its made, the words are that belt manfactures way of noteing direction. some belt makers use arrows to show this. it wont last long if it is put on worng and may cause some damage to the clutches
