Samsung Galxay 2 is the best, then maybe the i phone. I persoanlly would never buy a inferior product, like htc. Have been very happy with the Galaxy and i phone, though I prefer the Galaxy. Sorry to say but all the products I brought from Taiwan is a very low quality and inferior product.

that's why the display's not as sharp, cpu is not as fast, battery doesn't last as much and the build quality is not as good as the others...

@valkyrieXX yep, and samsung makes some good phones, but just because its all in house doesn't make it better. besides, the cpu arc is from ARM and the gpu is from powerVR, so the preprocessor isn't really in-house :P I'd much rather have a pro custom build me a pc(or build it myself) then some proprietary "use it how we tell you" box . The cheap plastics used by Samsung in their products are a big turn off for me...

@valkyrieXX uhh... super lcd is actually 50% samsung, 50% sony lol. super amoled is awesome, and hummingbird is nice too. when i said "cheap plastics" i meant cheap LOOKING plastics, im sorry but i just hate fingerprints on my tech. the 45nm snapdragons actually have pretty good battery life. "generic snapdragon" is an interesting phrase, since both snapdragon and hummingbird are based on the same "generic " ARM cortex processor.

uhh... I think you are getting S-LCD (Samsung / Sony collaboration for TVs and Monitors) confused with Sony's Super LCD (TFT-LCD)

Also, Apple A4, Samsung Hummingbird and Qualcomm Snapdragon are all based on ARM Cortex A8 architecture. so what? that's the standard.

Once again, the bottom line is HTC cannot get their hands on the best components out there because companies like Samsung will not sell them their best technology. HTC is at the mercy of their key competitor!

HTC learns a lot from Diamond that they made before.. Diamond isn't an iPhone killer yet. then HTC release a successor of Diamond, Blackstone. And it still can't beat the iPhone. After Blackstone, They release the truly iPhone Killer, it's Leo! it beat the iPhone 3GS! after that Apple release a new generation of iPhone blood line, it's iPhone 4th gen. Well then any winmo phone will beat an iphone, just because you can cook your own rom if youre inclined. Heck I am sure in the near future there will be an android running on most popular winmo phones.

Also if for some reason you need to do a master reset in winmo you dont need itunes to do it and then forced to do an update, unless you have your own ipfw.

Oh and by the way, even ipfw 4 wont give you multi tasking.

DON'T BUY THE OMNIA, it sucks. if you get the iphone you will not have any problems! The Omnia is slow, has a bad touch and a bad screen. I thought that it would be a wonderful phone, that's why i bought it, but it isnt. Now I'm waiting for the new Iphone 4g because after an year i really HATE the samsung OMNIA..

i have the htc touch 2, its a really amazing cell, dosnt freeze as much as black berry's, & other touch screen phones. in the video he saies its like a mini usb but diff & u cant use as a mini usb but u can, i use a Motorola mini usb charger/ps3 controller cord/even tom tom 12V cig lighter in my car. i can use these cords for charging or transfer info. So im glad i got the htc, ohh its very rugged, ive dropped it on concrete stairs, in a slush & salt slurry on the side of the road many times.

No, not exactly. The apple wasn't even originally meant to be a smartphone, but the people pushed apple into this "appzorzomygoshzz!" crap because the poor browser lacked flash capabilities (Something all WM has had for a bit less than ten years).

Its quite debatable (as we have succeeded in proving), and the devices are targeted at completely different audiences.

Of course, with Windows Mobile 7 ruining everything, a new OS will need to be found.

dude WM didnt have built in flash 10 years ago and they just now starting to get it i have had a xv6800 a xv6900 htc and both didnt have a flash support for stuff like youtube and other things and a iphone has always been a smartphone most pocket pcs hav to use WM bcuz the OS lets you do damn near anything to your phone as the iphone does not let you do this yes you have apps but its kinda limited to apple, ppc is touch screen smartphone isnt but the iphone is not considered a ppc bcuz of the OS

It had flash 6 at earliest which is 2005 2006ish at least. Its not built in, you've gotta download it. The apple is not a "ppc", because it does not run windows mobile. "Pocket pc" is Windows Mobile - they changed the name at windows mobile 2003.
