  • @Hightrain12 Sounds to me like a Nathan P3

  • That's quite alot of wagons for 1500 horsepower engines.

  • That's one of the best K3LAs I've ever heard!

  • is machine strong i like,, god is good, make man for construction biautifull everyting, god save america, save world people.

  • I don't remember the exact numbers, but two of these GP15's came up to Washington State recently. I saw them being pulled dead out of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard by their little 44-tonner about 2 months ago, and then about a month ago I saw them parked outside of Stimson Lumber Company in Shelton, WA.

  • Hah 103 is now in Oxnard, CA. for VCRR service

  • Hate those damned grafitti idiots.

  • Has anybody seen engine #113?

  • Most of the GP15's are out of svc iirc.

  • The 110 and 106 are operating up on the PSAP now. The 110 is heavily tagged. They have been working together on the Harbor Turn.

  • cchann006: Someday Can you Take a picture of the California Northern crossing Road 29 beetween Davis and Woodland

  • sweet vid

  • I would so love to spraypaint the eyeballs out of those bastards who paint the cars.

  • why there very nice looking

  • its too bad that these engines are being replaced with gensets. they are getting two of them from NRE. two 3gs21b-de engines. they arent in this paint scheme either. they are in rail america colors. too bad. i love this paint job.

  • Great. 40 cars, that a good load for those old GP15-1. I like how it picks up speed when they opened up the throttle.

  • Used to live in Woodland, and love trains, really good.

  • Ex CNW, Bell nose is the dead give away.

  • awesome vid

    cool colors on the engines

  • I got a fever! and the only cure is more cowbell, BABY!

  • Wow great job. I love California Northern! Culd you imagine a K5LA on they're line. It would be comical. Great job though. California Northern is the best California short line. Even though they are not very short anymore.

  • Unique colors, sounds and topography. Beautiful. Nice job!

  • i know that area well i used to live in northern cali.

  • Great video 5*****

I have seen the first car at 1:35 over 15 times come through American Canyon,Ca and oddly puled by engine 103 small world haha

  • Thanks for your video response, which I enjoyed watching. And yeah, it's funny to see the same car in a different location operated by the same railroad!

  • estas maquinas las conocemos como kletas aka en san francisco de los romo aguascalientes mexico x un maquinista de patio apodado el padre jajajaja de lujo ke no

  • Have you ever thought of filming CCT (Central California Traction)?

  • Yes, I have, and will try to do that someday.

  • Cool, that's the other railroad I hope to work for.

  • @cchan006 isnt the gp 15-1 basicly a mp15 with a shitter?

  • @arkie74: There might be other minor differences, but yeah, pretty much.

  • Nice video!!

  • I can't believe two GP15s can handle such long train! Good old engine!

  • Comment removed

  • That's ok, I shut down a lite engine not thinking about the fact we only had one in the first place. Usually we run two GP11's together.

  • is it just me or do CNW nose bells sound a lot like trolley bells...

  • more like hammers

  • I am a fan of the GP15's, Excellent Video 5 Stars!

  • I really hope to work for this shortline one day.
