@mrrodneyalong my father was a police officer for 16 years. my grandfather, a sheriff deputy for 20 years. i have seen and heard horror stories many times of crazy people with guns shooting at officers and shooting themselves. people get drove to the edge sometimes and its hard to say what caused some of the actions of these types of folks. some are evil while others feel backed in a corner with no way out. it can be a sad situation with terrible outcomes sometimes.

I have noticed that the first time we see the get away car it is white and next time it is red- i wonder how that can be???? Could it be because they dont want to show what really happened in the hunt so they took pic from another hunt? Just an idea.
The white truck you first see is a police truck (look at the flashing lights) and the red truck is there also, just in front of the police truck. The police unit with the camera changes positions with that other police truck later and you see the culprit closer then.
I do not agree with the shoot to kill rule, i understand it perfectly but still do not agree. There should be a middle line there somewhere, like shoot to disable.

LOL @ Anyone who thinks this is Murder... The perp OBVIOUSLY pulled a gun and fired as soon as he opened the passenger door. The cops were %100 entitled to fill the perps face with lead because their lives were in direct danger and OBVIOUSLY the perp would have tried to take their lives had the cops missed. Like the one person quoted, I personally would have reloaded too and emptied that clip into him as well. God Bless all our Law Enforcement and Emergency Services people for the work they do.

@mrrodneyalong me too. only its good to make sure to fire all rounds in the weapon that way they know the gun is no longer loaded and your ready to surrender peacefully. this suspect just failed to aim high enough to make the indication of surrender and as a result it looked like confrontational shots.(he clearly pulled over to surrender. its not his fault the truck to the left was blocking hist path.) this poor suspect clearly made a mistake those evil cops killed him for it.

Some people are just mean and the only two protections we really have is being armed our selves and when the police stumble across these people. The police have a horrible job, most people they deal with are assholes and the bottom of the social pot. Having to deal with something like this haunts you years later.

@mrrodneyalong my father was a police officer for 16 years. my grandfather, a sheriff deputy for 20 years. i have seen and heard horror stories many times of crazy people with guns shooting at officers and shooting themselves. people get drove to the edge sometimes and its hard to say what caused some of the actions of these types of folks. some are evil while others feel backed in a corner with no way out. it can be a sad situation with terrible outcomes sometimes.

I like how the gunman's undoing pretty much came from the passenger door. He swung it open to shoot and it came back and nailed his gun as he was shooting at the cop. Then his hand gets stuck in the door after they blast his ass :)

I have noticed that the first time we see the get away car it is white and next time it is red- i wonder how that can be???? Could it be because they dont want to show what really happened in the hunt so they took pic from another hunt? Just an idea.

The white truck you first see is a police truck (look at the flashing lights) and the red truck is there also, just in front of the police truck. The police unit with the camera changes positions with that other police truck later and you see the culprit closer then.
