  • Great finds. Really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.HH

  • Nice job TreasureFiend! I have that same pocket knife that I found at an old homesite. What do you look for on old maps to find places like that out in the woods?

  • Grats on the half! They are tough to come across. Found my second half in March of this year and my 3rd last week. Now I've got 2 walkers and clad a Kennedy. And it has only taken me 17 years or so to get 3!!! Got videos of last 2, stop by and take a look! Great day for you all the way around. Hope you have many more! HH :)

  • @Redbeard5020 Awesome job buddy and congrats on your halfs!!!

  • Those are some awesome finds! Congrats!

  • @TheRelicCollector Thanks

  • WTG TF! Great hunt!

  • @AUSTINSNIPERJACK Thanks for watching.

  • Hi, I would like to know how hard it is to learn to use and understand the signal on a metaldetector. Im afraid that if I buy one I wont be able to figure out everything how to work it the best way. I dont have any experienced detectorist that can teach me all the tricks in the book. I have no problem reading a manual, but its easier to learn from someone who knows what they are doing....

  • @majtymicke Its not very hard it just takes practice and digging a lot of holes, most detectors have a display screen that will tell you what the target probably is. No machine is 100% accurate and just remember everybody digs trash. Good luck, I hope you take the plunge and buy a detector and I hope to see some of your MD'ng videos soon.

  • congrats on that Ben!

  • Great finds man. Thanks for showing the trash you had to dig. I get sooo discouraged when I go out and dig a lot of trash. But like you said you dug 5 times as much trash to get the GREAT finds. I need to remember that. Great job!

  • @rjohnson17 Thanks, everybody digs trash but most of the time we don't show it or mention just how much we had to dig to get a few coins.

  • Awesome Hunt!

    Congrats On The Big Silver!

    Isn't that 1868 Indian Worth Like $30?

  • @MNdigger Thanks bud. I say its in f-vf condition but it does have some deteriation around the rim as its a dug coin - f-$65. vf-$95 in my2002 red book.

  • Congrats on that 1868 Indian Head Cent!!!! You got big silver too! Nice Franklin Half and silver Washington. Great Finds! Great Job! Great Video!

  • great hunt man im still looking for my first half found lots of goodies but not a half thanks for sharing HH

  • @firefighter2542005 This is the first year that I found any, I was starting to think that they were all found already. I'm sure you'll swing your coil over one here in no time at all. Good luck

  • how many silver total since you started?

  • @belovedwanderer 29 my 1st year, 48 last year, and 30 so far this year. On my YouTube channel I have a list of all my old coins and notable finds since I started.

  • Awesome video and hunt ! Big congrats on your second silver half and quarter. Good luck on your next hunt.

  • sweet find man. how do u no where to go in the woods

  • @stilldigin101 Thanks, I just keep goin out and trying new places, I MD' almost every day and plenty of days I walk away with nothing but a pouch full of garbage. What I look for is old broken bottles or other old garbage (tin cans, pull tops, and even nails, old foundations, old paths, ect.) then I slow way down and try to pick the coin targets out.

  • Awesome!! Great Hunt Buddy.Congrats on all your finds.Looks like you have plenty of area left for you to detect.I really liked how you showed where the coin hit on your screen and the full dig.Grats on the semi key date. That spoon is really Neat. The buckles had some age to them as well.Thx for taking us along..HH

  • @NiagracountyNY Thanks buddy. I usuially don't film the digging part because it adds more time to the procces and the video. I hunt the woods most of the time and sometimes it takes awhile to find the target because of the roots and also I dig almost all of the iffy signals I come across, most turn out to be trash and if I filmed all or even half or a quarter of them I would eatup a lot of my memory card.

  • Congrats on the silver half & quarter . lot s of cool finds !

  • @crunch7077 Thanks buddy.

  • ha! i have a mickey spoon just like that

  • Man TF...You are really killing it out there..Big congratulations on a wide assortment of nice finds.Your silver count has skyrocketed..

  • @219erman Thanks buddy, I hope the weather it good or even ok so we can get out and find some oldies!!! I can feel it in my bones that my first ever 1800's silver is just around the corner!!!

  • Dang man, nice going on the IH thats some bucks there, silver half nice too man!!

  • Sweet finds TF!! the spoon is very kool. Thanks for posting the video!!

  • Nice big silver, great hunt! What was at these woods that so many coins were lost? HH

  • @Vidslayer Nothing was there, its just a continiouse patch of woods that runs along the river (15min from downtown), most of the land around Chicago was all built up over 100 years ago so people would come out to the river on the weekends and camp, picnc and hunt. I have found everything from a large cent to shiny new state quarters, 100 year old bottles to bottles left a week eairler. I never know what Im going to find in the woods.

  • What a GREAT bunch of finds! The coin's are awesome, the spoon as well! Great job!

  • Congrats - always enjoy your videos . The last few have been extremely cool ...Thanks for taking the time to post and look forward to more..HH
