ATTENTION TOM VOICE HATERS:

Tom had change not so much his actual voice but the WAY he sings. Toward the end of the Blink days, his voice was wearing out from years of constantly putting strain in his voice when he sang (hence his signature whiny voice). So when he started AVA, he began a whole new singing style where he would stop hurting his voice. If he continued to sing like he was in the early 2000s, he would have damaged his vocal cords permanently.

So basically it's New Tom or no Tom.

@steveryans2 If you knew anything at all you would know that Tom wasn't all there he was on something I have heard it was painkillers for his back problems, also he left the band to be with his daughter and wife, so he you could assume he wasn't a happy person, if you watch video of them playing live around the time they broke up Tom doesn't look into it, he looks as if he would much rather be doing something else than be up there on stage you can tell by his body language

Tom didn't even visit Travis in the hospital apparently, if you're not a selfish prick you go visit your friends after they're in a plane crash. The band seems compartmentalized into Mark/Travis doing a +44 sound and then Tom doing his own AVA-ish songs. The new cd isn't bad but there's a clear lean one way or another depending on the song

@steveryans2 Blink now is a mix of AVA, +44 and Boxcar Racer. It was bound to happen due to the time they spent apart and the new music they formed. Have to just face it. Old Blink was great, but you can't expect a band to keep pumping out the same genre tracks time in time out. If you like their old stuff. Listen to their old stuff. I personally like their new stuff, it's not the Blink I fell in love with, but they haven't lost their touch. And as far as I'm concerned that's whats important.
